Whistler Mountain Bike Park

Owner description: Whistler Mountain Bike Park has something for every level of rider. Gentle, banked cruisers through the Coastal forest. Tight and twisty single track - perfect for intermediate riders. For the armour clad, full face wearing, 50lb. bike group there are steep rock faces, gnarly, root strewn lines, drop offs of all descriptions and more.

Bar none, this is the premier park in the world. Come here to up your game, whether you are an intermediate rider or a pro. New trails being cut all the time, the mountain is progressing with the times.

This was so much fun! I was so amazed on how well maintained this place was. Absolutely amazing place. They had trails for beginners, medium and pro level riders. Very easy to start here. Go and ride when in Whistler during bike park season.

If you like speed, jumps, and challenge this is for you. There are a few beginner trails but the best and most abundant trails are blue and black.

We were staying at the Sundial Hotel - looking out our window, we could see the bike park. On the 1st Sunday we were there the park was EXTREMELY heavily used !! Riding down the mountain, jumps etc.. the bikers were heading up again just as quickly as they came down !! Take the chair up & have your bike follow you .. to the top ;)

First of all we are bikers, but not like this. We decided to look over the bikers coming down the hill and go from there. WOW were we impressed, however, it was very intimidating and we decided first of all, we didn't have the right bikes- more like Cheap mountain bikes and our outfits were way out of fashion, so, we decided to just watch. Saved a pile of money, but oh so entertaining. Maybe next year we will give it a go. Note that you can bike a lot of trail all around Whister- head out to Lost Lake area for some easier going and when you can master that (aka bunny hill!!!) take on the big boys.
