Description: In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.

“Great meal at Rim Rock”

Loved the salmon, my wife had arctic char (I might have the spelling wrong). It was a nice evening without kids. A bit expensive, but fantastic food.

“Consistently good!”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

I stop by here every year while skiing for probably one of the best meals in Whistler. They have stayed consistently good through the years, and this year did not disappoint. The service is top notch. We were attended to constantly and did not need to ask for anything at all. The mostly locally sourced food was great, and I'd highly recommend whatever fish dish they have that's stuffed with Chevre and crab. Decadent. So good! Sticky toffee cake for desert is amazing. Make reservations early since it can book up in advance. Also, for wine lovers, their wine list is quite extensive, and award winning. This is still one of the finest in Whistler, and not to be missed.

“Excellent Seafood and Romantic Lodgy Atmosphere”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

Enjoyed the bar while waiting. We recommend the elk tenderloin app! The steel head trout stuffed with goat cheese and the artic char entrees were also very good. The toffee bread pudding was delicious!
