Right at the square, music playing in the background, hustle- bustle all around. Nice bear and tuna in Miso sauce. Though service was slow. Worth visiting.

Great service from our waitress. The food was just so-so. I had the flat iron steak and fries. Steak was ok. Fries were fine. Wife had the fish and chips. Fires were fine, but the fish just did t taste good, it was more crumbly than flakey. I’d try different dishes if I went back.

Our meal was so so. Decent pub grub. Overpriced for anywhere but Whistler. What really irked me though, was the credit card machine requesting that i tip 25% !. Who in their right mind tips 25%? I was left with a bad feeling that this establishment was trying to take advantage of me. I would not go back because of that feeling. Bad policy.

Terry H,

Thank you for passing this on to our attention. The auto option enables different percentage options on our units here, and we will be sure to have this adjusted as we can agree that it shouldn't be there. We hope that we can gain your business back this summer and hope to see you again at the Beacon.
Thanks Terry H,

Big, yummy fries! Lots of comfort food here. But aoli mayo so there’s plenty of gourmet delights to keep your palate happy. We ate outside and, although the music was too loud, it was nice. Don’t skip the tomato jam on the Big Cheese

Lise B,

Thanks for stopping by the Beacon during your time in Whistler. If we see The Rock here this summer we will do a measurement and let you know!
We appreciate the feedback on the music volume so that we can keep an eye on it as our patio is a great spot to pass some time in the middle of the Village.
Thanks again and safe travels to you,

Worth the 20 minute wait! Great lunch. Fish and chips and chicken pot pie. Both were really good, along with a refreshing beer and pear cider. Great spot for lunch on the go.
