Reviewed 26 February 2017

Went to Crepe Montagne almost every morning for breakfast as it was open at 7.30am & fresh fruit salads & fruit crepes were delicious!!!
Great to build you up for a hard day's skiing & the staff were super friendly
Will definitely return next winter.

“Wonderful breakfast...something for everybody”
Reviewed 19 February 2017

Had brunch with the kids there and everybody cleaned their plates. The omelettes and crepes are delicious. Can't go wrong.

“A delightful French crêperie!”
Reviewed 19 February 2017 via mobile

First bit of advice: go early (1730 to 1800) or be prepared to wait outside for a table. This is a tiny and very popular restaurant. It offers a variety of crepes; I had the seafood crepe and my wife had the cordon Bleu, and both were very good. The warm berry dessert crepe was excellent. Service was friendly and spirited. We try to visit Crepes Montague every time we're in Whistler, which is once a year.

“Disappointed with the raclete... and overpriced”
Reviewed 16 February 2017

We decided to visit Crepe Montagne because they seem to be the only place in Whistler that serve raclete. Unfortunately we have to say that we were disappointed: after a very well prepared french soup, the "raclete" was served in a non-traditional grill. The cheese was medium grade at best and although there were plenty of options to choose from the veggie and meat plates, if you miss on the cheese, you ruin the raclete. The smoke from the grill was bothersome and the whole experience seemed somewhat improvised. Prices were definitely above what they should be, in comparison with other restaurants we visited.

“Long lines”
Reviewed 15 February 2017

I've passed this place a few times prior to visiting and always notice many French speaking people lined up. Coming from Europe I assumed they were French, and in my simple mind the thought process was French people lined up at creperie = must be good creperie. D'oh. Canadians speak French. Not that Canadians' taste palate is any less sophisticated that the French, but the realization kind of took off the perceived fantasized gloss. So, in short, average crepe in an area where there are only 2 creperies (I think). To be fair, this place offers way more than crepes. It's more like a full service restaurant that seems to serve Alsace-ish food. Many people were eating breakfast menu near lunch time, but we were not offered that and had the grand menu. An egg dish and a salmon dish if I remember correctly. I don't think there were anything wrong with those 2 dishes since I don't remember much, if anything, definitely better than anything I had in Chamonix, but as the expectation for the crepe was running unreasonably high, the crepe itself was a let down. I think the overall rating is somewhere between "Average" and "Very Good"
