This restaurant is a nice change from the usual places we eat at in Brandon. It was also walking distance from our hotel, so it was very convenient. It seems like the service is the main complaint most reviewers have, and we echo that sentiment. Chili Chutney needs to take heed and train their staff on how to be more attentive. We had the buffet, but that doesn't mean we should be ignored - what about asking us about our drinks, or a top up of our water? We also had to tell the server twice that we were done, and that we wanted to pay the bill - it was assumed that we would know to just go up to the till and tell the cashier what we had and pay for it. The only other complaint is that there was a pluming issue in the men's washroom where one of the urinals was out of service - obvious because the main water pipe was missing and a paper towel was stuck in there to prevent debris from entering - so some signage would have been appreciated. The food was incredibly tasty, fresh, well prepared, and was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. It was very cool, as well, that they had a television with a chef showing how the dishes are prepared. Many sins are forgiven when the food and the value are this good.
