this hotel was great value for dollars spent! A large indoor pool and also a large outdoor 3 rd floor rooftop pool. It usually opens in June but It opened early this year because of our hot weather. The pool was very warm outside. You could buy chips and beer at the pool. The rooms were very clean. Shower in bathroom very nice. Tammy at the desk upgraded us when she found out it was our anniversary. Great customer service. Balcony on the 8th floor was nice to view the sunset. No chairs on the balcony. In downtown Winnipeg. Close to mts, restaurants, dollarama and dollar tree are very close to get snacks, water, bottle opener. The elephant and castle restaurant has been there for over 25 years. Its very good. We were asked for change 3x by people on the street and saw paramedics resus an individual in dollar tree. Typical downtown Winnipeg. We parked on the street because it was Saturday night after 5 pm and sunday parking is free. The beds were comfortable. Large TV. Fridge in our room. Wifi was fast. We will stay again.

Room Tip: pools are located on the 3 rd floor. Higher floors have a better view.

Stayed here for 1 night during a short visit to the city. Parking in building was easy and check in no problem. Room was modern with heated floors in the bathroom. Had a king size bed and slept great. Cable/Satellite service was spotty. Some channels kept giving me pixels. Was a bit frustrating however I never called someone to fix it. Hotel had indoor and outdoor pool. Even though it was 90F+ when I was there everyone was using the indoor. The coffee stand in the lobby served Starbucks and the restaurant was a good option.

The staff offered warm hospitality despite an ongoing conference and the presence of Vegas Knights. Matt deserves special recognition for ensuring a quiet room; very much appreciated. The public computer worked well. Distance to the Museum of Human Rights and The Forks is about a 15 minute walk. It is an efficient hotel.
If you want some History and charm, check out the Fort Garry hotel for breakfast.

Room Tip: High room with a view of St. Mary's Church

Great hotel in a central location. Rooms are clean and spacious and service is excellent. Hotel is close to lots of restaurants and shopping. The only thing that would help in the area would be a grocery store.
