OK, I am going to be brief: this hotel has literally everything you could ask for: Tropical themed pool (pool + hot-tub, indoor), a good restaurant (family style), 5-pin bowling in the basement (it was GLOW IN THE DARK when we went!), and a full bar / club in the back with live-music, VLT, and pool tables. Staff were more than nice, we got a free hot breakfast in the restaurant (we are Wyndham rewards members) and the room was great.

Room tip: If you are looking for a quiet, make sure to ask at the front-desk, some of the rooms face into the court-yard where the pool area is.

Pros: comfortable beds & pillows. Microwave & fridge in room. Pool. Restauarant has a variety of choices. Close to a lot of amenities. Reasonable price. Room was clean.

Cons: really dated decor. Room had water stains on the ceiling & curling wallpaper. Loud. Our upstairs room overlooked the pool and had the pool noise during the day. Had loud guests keeping us up at night. Walls are pretty thin. Common areas were pretty dusty.

Room was clean and comfy. Pool service was poor. Waited 30 mins for clean towels. Service at restaurant was slow and food was below average.

Overall our stay was ok but there was some confusion between Booking.com and the reservation staff. We booked a room with access to the pool and had made it clear in our booking under special requests and by calling the hotel directly to inquire about a cot in the deluxe queen room that was advertised as we had our 12 year old son with us. I was told it would not be a problem by the front desk staff. Upon arrival we were told that the room could not accommodate a cot and that all others rooms were booked. This was over Christmas week so the hotel was full. After some persuasion and my husband rearranging the entire room, we were able to fit a cot in the small room. This is not the first time we've stayed here as we make regular trips to Winnipeg and have booked here several times in the past few years. The hotel was not accepting responsibility as they tried to blame Booking.com for not sending the request even though I showed them a hard copy of my reservation which included the request for a cot in a pool side room. Although everything worked out, it would have been nice to not have the stress and aggravation after a lengthy drive from Edmonton. If this has been someone else with no furniture moving experience, I doubt they could have made this work. I don't know too many people that would stand a dresser up on end and move the microwave/coffee stand into the front closet. We will think twice before booking here again. Sorry but the amount we paid just isn't worth that kind of stress.

Please do not hesitate to inquire about our double rooms (2 Queen Beds) as there is ample room for a cot. We are happy that your stay was okay and we hope to see you again. Booked 6months in advance for specific rooms on pool floor.Called back 4days prior to confirm. Was assured all is ok. Get there and NO rooms were available on pool floor..no notice whatsoever! Tried to talk to manager multiple times, never there or did not return phone calls.
