It is located in the central most part and is a boon for business travellers. Quite comfortable for the kind of tarriff charged. All facilities including a pleasant refreshing buffet breakfast, are available.

Courteous staff does not leave any room for any complaints.
Next door is an Indian restaurant Ivory that offers a lavish Indian buffet food. Enjoyable duo.

Downside: Behind it are some seedy places and funny looking people around.

We just stayed here last week and the stay was as nice as the last one. Clean , comfortable rooms with free WiFi and free parking easy access to the downtown St Boniface hospital or Health Science Center. Ask for the Cancer Care rate if that is your reason to be in the city. Only 8 minutes to HSC. Right down the street from the Ivory Restaurant and Earls.

The breakfast is a typical continental breakfast, it includes hot items like Pancakes, sausage patties and hash brown although not great it fills you up.

Room tip: parking lot side is quieter

We stayed here for two nights last week. We found the hotel it be clean, comfortable, convenient, and affordable. The beds were great and we appreciated the extra large room, bathroom, and shower.

Although we were excited about the free breakfast, we found the offerings pretty disappointing. The coffee was bland and lukewarm, and there were no hot vegetarian items or gluten-free alternatives. It was basically cold cereal, white toast or bagels, bacon, or ham omelettes. I was surprised to find ham in the eggs, but I must give kudos to the young lady working in the restaurant who went out of her way to find some eggs (which took a while), and cook them for me without ham. She was definitely a saving grace and made the morning much more pleasant.

Overall we enjoyed this hotel and would probably stay there again.

pros:
-Central for the Forks region, and Grahma Mall.
- All day coffee available in lounge and good internet
-Small but good pool with excellent steam room and jacuzzi, always empty it seems
- Clean rooms
- Reception friendly and will look after bags if you arrive too early to check in
- Buffet breakfast big, and variey of choices hot and cold, numerous pastries
- Overall good value

cons
-Breakfast staff surly and were eating pastries during serving. Half chewed donut left lying on the counter....not good.
- Views a bit boring...not their fault however.
-Bland interior

I stayed for 4 nights at the Humphrey Inn in Winnipeg for business, and found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Since I was working in the downtown area of Winnipeg, the location of the Humphrey Inn was perfect for me. Also, given the location, I was able to walk to quite a variety of very good restaurants.

The Humphrey Inn was previously a Hampton Inn, so if you are familiar with that brand, you'll have a good idea of what the Humphrey is like. The front desk staff were very efficient, helpful and friendly. Housekeeping did a really good job in cleaning the room each day, and everything seemed to work very well. An added bonus is the free internet access and the reasonable breakfast available each morning.

Room tip: There are rooms available with in-room jacuzzi which is a nice plus.
