We were successful from are escape from "Grandmas Attic". However, being experiences "escape artists" this room proved to be less then exciting. The design and props were simple and sparse. Game play was very linear, not allowing the group to split up and work on different puzzles at the same time.

Great room for beginners and "tweens".

NOTE: The hints are provided via txt message (phone provided by company). Hints from previous game not erased from phone for our group.

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry your experience was less than satisfactory. With regards to the linear set up of Grandma's Attic, it was designed to be more linear as we have many first timers that benefit from this set up. Museum of Curiosities is designed to be the exact opposite and is also much more immersive. I feel it would be more in line with what you as a player value in an escape room.

With regards to clues not being erased, I can assure you that all employee's have since been spoken to about the situation and we will ensure it does not happen again. If you would like to discuss how we can rectify the situation, please feel free to contact us through phone or email.

All the best,
-Codebreakers management team

We went with an 8 year old, a 12 year old and four adults and had a great time at Grandma's attic. It was only $20 per person and was a challenge, but we made it with slightly over a minute to spare. It was great fun and would recommend to anyone who wants to do a challenging room at a very reasonable price.

Grandma's Attic was really fun. Kaitlyn was super helpful and awesome!! I tend to overthink things and ended up creating my own phantom puzzles but if you just relax and go in with an open mind let, you'll enjoy it even more. Also, I learned about different kinds of bears

The atmosphere of the room was verrryy subpar in grandmas attic. It really just looked like someone went to an antique shop and threw a bunch of cheesy antiques into the room. Some of the puzzles were pretty cool however others were out of place or just sort of lame. I think if they put some more effort into the quality of the props and clues in the room it could be a good room however I don't think its really quite there yet.

Tucked into Osborne Village we had a blast! Well explained and organized. A lot of fun in Gramas attic! Looking forward to another visit! Cute little shops and eateries all around, went for lunch after and wandered through the shops. Excellent way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
