This is our go-to take out Chinese place. Nothing fancy, but good food made the same way every time. We usually get the Chow Mein, eggplant with pork, dry breaded veal and lemon chicken. All good. Not amazing, but good.

One of the best places for Chinese in the city. So many great options and the portion sizes are great for sharing. Lemon Chicken has got to be my favourite dish though!

Used to be excellent food, but it's been slipping over the last year or so.
And, now, I'd say it's off my list.
Terrible cuts of beef, lots of 'filler' veggies, and just overall 'meh.'
The squid is still pleasant, but that's short compensation for the rest.

Let's cut to the chase: dishes we ordered that were terrific.

41. Broccoli with Yu Hsaing Sauce. The best broccoli we've ever had a Chinese restaurant in Winnipeg. Not overcooked, unique flavour.

1. Consommé soup. Not like anything we've had in town. Mild and flavourful. Not salty and soya sauceish tasting.

79. Ribs in spicy salt. This was very interesting, not overly spicy and full of flavour. Lack of a lot of meat on the bones was made up for by great taste.

49. Sesame Chicken. Not overly battered, great taste. Everyone in our family loved it.

98. Crispy beef in spicy honey sauce. Great flavour at the top of the dish, but somewhat overcooked beef at the bottom. Still would order again to see if this was a one-off mistake.

31. Chicken chow mein. We would just get the sesame chicken (49) and broccoli (41) x 2 over the chow mein when we order again.

Busy place, conciencious quality, large portions for the price. You can't go wrong!
