They require you to wear a mask which is ridiculous because you do all the bookings online and for renting a bike for example, you just go there to get the bike and you have no interaction with the employees there.
Although, I believe it’s unnecessary, I’d follow their policy, but last time I forgot to have my mask with me and I got treated very bad by one of the employees because I wasn’t wearing a mask and they even checked my temperature which is absurd!
They really need to review their policies!
I wouldn’t recommend renting from this place. Just go to Savage’s Bike Rentals.

Steve, we were hoping to reach out to you, but we can't find your information based on the moniker you used here. Please reach out to us through email: cole@secondnatureoutdoors.com regarding the poor service you received and we would love the opportunity to make this right.
To respond to your concerns, our policies are guided by the provincial health recommendations which state that we should be wearing a mask when it is not possible to socially distance. When renting a bike we are handing you items such as a helmet, and the bike, and we must also adjust the bike seat to your height and therefore we are unable to maintain a distance of 2 meters during that interaction. Because of this we ask all our guests (and ourselves) to wear a mask.
We are also taking the temperatures of all guests and we are cleaning everything the guest and our employees touch. All of this is in an effort to protect our guests, our employees, and our facilities/equipment. As a small business, an outbreak would be detrimental to our operations so these measures will be in place for at least the 2020 season. These measures were also necessary for us to be permitted to operate this year by our building owners.
We apologize for the poor service you experienced and we look forward to making it up to you.

Equipment in good shape . Great place to enjoy some water activity .

Very friendly and helpful staff! It was my first kayaking experience and it was awesome! I think it’s a very reasonable price and it’s super accessible from downtown Freddy.

This time we rented a canoe, but we've also rented stand-up boards, and it's really fun to be out in the water on a sunny day! The staff is very friendly and will also offer tips to less experienced rowers.
