I assume the inside is nice, but it was closed when I was there. I walked around the grounds, took some photos, and enjoyed some of the history.
Visit during the summer months and the Cathedral will have summer students on staff giving the tours. To be honest, the enjoyment of your tour will depend on the enthusiasm/expertise of your summer student. We went twice with two different groups of visitors, one tour was very informative with a very knowledgeable student, the other was "meh" with a kid who would volunteer facts if you asked for them but wasn't particularly interested in being a tour guide (we only knew to ask the questions because the first guide was so good...)
One of the oldest cathedrals on British soil in North America this stately church is a national treasure. Guided tours available in thes summer. Peaceful grandeur!
Informative free tour of history and art are available. Amaziing
Organ and pained walls, stained glass and steple
The tour was informative - very nice guide. The windows were unique and the stories about the church were charming
Visited the church on July 26.
This happened to be a Friday that was part of their Music at the Cathedral Summer Recital Series
The featured artist that afternoon was David Wheatley, an accomplished organist.
During The program David played many of his own compositions as well as Bach and Faure.
Very delightful program.
The church itself is the work of craftsman and a tribute to the founders and visionaries that helped build Fredericton.
The steeple is landmark that can been seen throughout the city
