There are some shops in here to visit, but nothing more than your standard city market you'd find anywhere else. Make a visit if you have time, but don't make a special trip.

This is such a homely lovely place to visit even in the rain as we had. Hampton Creators has whimsical jewelry handmade from flowers and maple leaves. The Butcher's Daughter has jewelry and masks and pottery to just cherish. I bought these sealing wax earrings, and one pair or ring/necklace nicer than the last, hard to choose. AND the duck/soap lady was a HOOT, and I shall have new ducks to leave on our ships to surprise people with and also OATCAKES, handmade treats and eats and the cat/dog toys for pets lady, what a sweetie. Highly recommended.
GO, the reversing falls are ok, but catch a video, in the rain? You can't beat this fun place with such great merchants. Felt like visiting friends. PS I wrote a poem called "The Toff and The Roof Tiler's Daughter" and in France we at at the Baker's Wife, so high marks to the name of that shop.
I enjoyed stopping by here on a recent trip. I had already eaten, and wished I hadn't! There were some delicious smelling foods being made including fresh pasta, Lebanese food, and Korean food among many others. This is also a nice place to shop for souvenirs. I got some nice items from Fiddling Ferns - screen printed bags, napkins, tea towels and such. The artist herself was there. They also have a place you can try local beers and there is a seating area. They have many jams, honeys, mustards and sauces for purchase but as I am traveling by air without checked luggage, I didn't buy any.
On some nights, there is an evening market directly beside the building with outdoor food stalls and artisans.
My husband had read up on this market so it was one of our points of interest while we were in town , though lots of vendors are not around , maybe due to Covid, still some cute places to visit , we bought some really nice soup to eat , a bit cold outside, and found a nice place selling English food and drinks bought those for my daughter who lives here , all and all enjoyable visit
Beautiful and lively market. Lots of friendly vendors, food, drink, artisan stuffs, and alcohol. We really enjoyed our walk through and the little pop up bar in back. I’d recommend about 30 minutes to see it all… more if you want to grab a drink!
Nice open interior with a lot of character. Too bad some places close way too early in the day that serve food and ice cream.
