“Couldn't have had a better weekend!”
Reviewed 12 June 2011

Recently my fiancé and I planned a relaxing getaway in Shediac for a night. After only a few hours at this warm, welcoming and elegant B&B, we decided to stay an extra night! The hosts were SO gracious and friendly and were able to cater to our every need. This came easily for them given their experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. The gourmet food provided in house and the wide selection of beverages and specialty coffees (I recommend the organic chai latte) were phenominal!! We especially loved that they were environmentally friendly in many ways without lacking in any amenities. The historic property as well as the decorations and artwork gave it that "home-away-from-home" feel. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean (we stayed in room #1 which was spectacular). Because they are located on Main St. everything was very accessible.

We are already in the midst of planning our next visit!!

We recently had our wedding reception at this great Inn in Shediac called Inn Thyme. Tim and Patrick made our stay there very pleasurable and memorable. The food was very good as well as the room. The service was excellent and the overall package was exactly what we wanted.

I stayed one night in room #6 (queen bed) on the 2nd floor, towards the back of the house. The room was nicely and tastefully decorated. It felt very cozy and welcoming. The bed and pillows were extremely comfy. I loved the tub with feet. The room was sparkling clean.

There were guests in the room next to me, but I couldn't hear them at all - so the rooms are well sound-proofed. Which is not always the case in B&Bs - so I really appreciated how quiet it was.

The breakfast was simply delicious! Very tasty. And the coffee was really, really good. The 2 hosts make you feel very welcome.

OK so we finally got a little break and decided to head out the the East Coast as neither of us had ever been. We wanted to do something a bit different than staying in a major city in a major chain and came across "Inn Thyme" (we thought the play on words was fun). What a great experience from the hosts, the cleanliness, the relaxation, they really went out of their way for us when we wanted to see a bit around town, it was like another honeymoon and quite unexpected. Highly recommend to anyone!

We stayed at the Auberge Inn Thyme for two nights while attending a wedding in Shediac (at the Tait House). Our family took 6 of the 7 rooms at the Inn. We felt like we had our own private hotel.

The Inn is beautiful...decorated with lovely pieces of furniture and wonderful art. The rooms are all different - and well appointed . Incidentally, my husband and I had Room 7. We are both light sleepers and weren't bothered by any noise whatsoever. We thought we had the best room in the house!

The food is wonderful - Patrick is to be commended.

I think the best part of this whole experience was meeting Patrick and Tim. They made us feel so welcome. They truly couldn't do enough for us. We had a little impromptu cocktail party (with a few extra guests who were staying at other B & B's) before the wedding....they were welcomed by Patrick and Tim as well.

If anyone is going to the Shediac area, they will be lucky to get a reservation at the Auberge. You couldn't help but enjoy your stay here.

We spent a night here recently. Everyone was very nice but it seemed a little noisy for a B&B. We had the misfortune of being in room #7, which is downstairs. We could hear all of the random foot traffic. The shower was miniscule and the flow from the showerhead was weak. Breakfast was delicious but a little skimpy.

We spent 3 nights and 4 days at Auberge Inn Thyme in early September and it truly exceeded our expectations. 3 mid-life couples, we trailered our motorcycles from Ontario and we could honestly say that this was the best off all of our accomodation along the way. A beautiful mansion tastefully decorated in gorgeous antiques and yet the amenities were up to date. Fresh colors, fresh linens, comfy beds and excellent hosts. We loved the coffee house especially in the afternoon after taking in the sights on the bikes. The coffee was fresh brewed organic and the choice of homemade decadent deserts was amazing. One of the owners is a chef and his daily lunch specials were amazing. You can always tell the best place in town when the locals business people visit often. Our hosts were so accomodating and happy to help us with planning our daily activities. We will definitely visit again. Oh, the lobster in Shediac is to die for!
