I really enjoyed my stay at this guest house. I was in Bonavista room. Everything was working well. Even there is no breakfast serving, the kitchen is very welcoming to made your cup of coffee as at home. Plus, Helen came every morning to bake fresh muffins! Really home feelings experience. Location is outstanding. Three bus routes at the same corner, amazing coffee shop, signal hill close by, Water street two steps away. The Rooms 4 bus stops or easy walking distance. The neighbors were very friendly. Spent 5 nights at this place.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in mid-September at the end of our two-week hiking holiday in Newfoundland. After two weeks of hitting the trails from Rocky Harbour to Twillingate, it was fun to end up in the provincial capital, and to stay in such a centrally-located, romantic guesthouse. We liked the convenience of the self-check-in, self-catering option, our room was comfortably and attractively appointed, and made optimal use of the neat attic space, including the well-designed en suite bathroom with shower. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. We had booked a room that had a shared bathroom. We were on the third floor, which was fine with us as we enjoyed the exercise! Anyone with issues on stairs please request something in the lower floors.

Our room was super small. Our luggage took up room any floor space and we don't have an air conditioner. We were thankful for the fan that was provided.

The shared bathroom was a first for us. The people in the floor below us shared it and it was rather uncomfortable but that's just my own opinion. The toilet latch unhooked at every flush so we had to take the tank off each time we used the bathroom.

There was coffee and tea and muffins on the main floor. There was a shared fridge as well.

The one thing we found odd.....when we arrived our name was on the sheet at the front door with what room we were assigned to. In our room there was a passcode to lock our door. So anyone could have checked out our room and used our passcode that was left on the tv stand. Not the safest.

Lastly, we were told we could park on the street and when we arrived at 10pm we found another note saying the streets were going to be cleaned and we couldn't park there. Thankfully the neighbors told us where we could park.

Nice place. Clean.

Located in walking distance to the Harbour, a historic walk, and among the jelly bean houses, so very quaint. We stayed in the Brigus Room, which twigged our interest in this area of the province, so we visited there as well!

Room tip: Washroom is located on the top floor.

Stayed 1 night at the end of September on the top floor (quiet): Twilingate room.

The colors, cleanliness, old century vibe of the the whole guesthouse has a definite wow factor. Bed very comfortable. Muffins, tea, coffee and citrus water put a smile on my face in the morning as it was not expected.

Walking distance to the Signal Hill trail (beautiful hike) and Water Street (shopping). Even had some time to relax and read (books provided in the big kitchen area) on the very comfortable couch of the cozy boudoir.

Very simple and accommodating self-check-in guesthouse. Would recommend and definitely go back.
