I found this to be one of the more expensive places on George St. The food is average for what they charge. The beer is just like everyone else's, cold, but more money.? I would stop by just to check it out & move on to the next pub.

My friends and I wandered into this pub for a snack and a few pints. The classic nachos were very good, with the goodies and cheeses nicely spread through the layers of chips rather than simply parked on top. The calamari was really fresh and perfectly cooked. My pals said the mussels were tasty as well. As for the drinks, it's hard to go wrong with the local beers. Our server was excellent: he was attentive, gave helpful food and beer recommendations, and was fun and friendly. A great experience all around.

Stopped in for a couple of pints on a Sunday afternoon, and enjoyed the company of other visitors and a very knowledgable bartender regarding local beer. I also had a couple of appetizers which came out of the kitchen, promptly and fresh from the grill.

We had dinner at The Celtic Hearth which is associated with and a physical part of Bridie Molloy's. Try the Jiggs Pie; it is fantastic. It is a savoury menu item that The Newfoundlanders are known for.
