Our server was pleasant. We selected to sit outside but it began to get too cold so moved indoors after ordering. She adjusted very nicely. NOTE: The outside dining overlooks a seedy alley.

The food was mediocre at best. We did eat it but wouldn't go here again. There are so many restaurants in the area that surely we could have found something far better.

We stopped in for lunch on our last day in NFLD. We all ordered the Cod and chips(gravy & dressing). The food was of good quality along with friendly service. There is a lot of competition on Water street.

Stopped in for supper. Between 4 of us we had the muscles, calamari & onion rings as an appetizer. Then we all had the seafood linguine as a main course.
Everything was excellent and portion size was more than enough.
Service was good as was the beer, local brew Quidi Vidi 1892.

Thank Andy G

I found this to be one of the more expensive places on George St. The food is average for what they charge. The beer is just like everyone else's, cold, but more money.? I would stop by just to check it out & move on to the next pub.

My friends and I wandered into this pub for a snack and a few pints. The classic nachos were very good, with the goodies and cheeses nicely spread through the layers of chips rather than simply parked on top. The calamari was really fresh and perfectly cooked. My pals said the mussels were tasty as well. As for the drinks, it's hard to go wrong with the local beers. Our server was excellent: he was attentive, gave helpful food and beer recommendations, and was fun and friendly. A great experience all around.
