We booked two nights at this wonderful B&B. Janet and her son James were wonderful hosts. Our room was wonderful and the breakfasts were excellent.
The B & B was wonderfully located- you could walk everywhere.
Would highly recommend this B&B to anyone.

Room Tip: This B&B would not work for people with disabilities. There are many stairs to climb.

We started our 12 day Newfoundland vacation here at the end of July. What a wonderful place to stay! The room was large, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. One of the best B & B's we have ever visited!

Janet and Garry made us very welcome during our short stay At Wit's Inn: their lovely house was warm, comfortable and full of local interest.

Breakfasts were typically Canadian - plenty of fresh fruit, eggs and bacon and tea (kept warm in the biggest tea cosy we've ever seen!).

Our room was comfortable and spacious, with lovely rugs on the floor and comfortable beds and even bath robes provided.

All in all we loved our stay and would happily return to their lovely home.

Conveniently located, spacious room (two sitting areas, plus queen bed) & en suite and a different delicious breakfast each morning, At Wit's Inn is where it's at for me. Janet, always kind and helpful, catered to my 'no meat' requests each morning of our 3-night stay. The house is gorgeous and accommodates six guests, so it's a very comfortable, intimate feel. The little things make the difference: well-equipped/supplied bathroom, cozy robes and access to kitchen and snacks. Beautiful common room with relevant reading material. If we are back in St.John's, this is where we'll stay.

Room Tip: Apparently a cat on site, so if you have allergies, this would be the only reason to avoid.

Stayed 3 nights at Wit's Inn. Great hosts, delicious breakfasts, excellent service and accommodation. We had a beautiful room on the top floor which was a bit warm with the unusually hot weather while we were there, but our hostess, Janet, had fans running trying to keep us cool. Located on Gower Street, the Inn is within easy walking distance to the action downtown on Water and Duckworth and just a block from a lovely historic park. I highly recommend the Wit's Inn.

Room Tip: Top floor room has a beautiful clawfoot bathtub
