The building is a unique design and all beautiful wood and timber inside. You can learn about how the government of NWT works. There are also displays and you can go into the assembly area. The man at the front desk is friendly and can also answer your questions.

Great guided tour and a very interesting experience. I learnt so much about the NWTs history and the unique culture that makes it such a special part of Canada
A must see for any traveller in Yellowknife

Inside this legislative assembly building you could see old version and new version of scepters. And a sculpture from France. It is interesting.

After reading other reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to join a free guided tour of the Legislative Assembly Building. Now I usually find these things abit boring, however I really enjoyed this!
The lady who did the tour, Katie Weaver was fabulous! So knowledge and very passionate and manage to make the tour the right balance of interesting and not too long!
I actually learnt a lot of well. 100% recommend!
