This is a wonderful choice for visiting the Annapolis area. Located in a secluded woodland setting on the shore of the picturesque Sandy Bottom Lake this is a perfect location for rest and relaxation and as a base for visiting the local area. Sitting outside in the garden or on our balcony (Lake View room) the only sound is of the wind in the pine trees. The hosts Adele and Bob are extremely welcoming. Adele welcomed us with afternoon tea and freshly made chocolate cake and her breakfasts are delicious - with home made bread, free range eggs, local bacon, delicious fruit platter etc. A charming lady and host and a extremely helpful with advice on places to see, eat and wonderful route directions ! The house itself is beautiful and our bedroom large and very well appointed inc. fridge, en suite and a large balcony with stunning views over the lake. So glad we found Tranquil Times. Many thanks for the experience !

Room Tip: Lake View room has a stunning vista

We have just left this perfectly beautiful place and would love to return. As others have said, we were made to feel really at home by Adele and Bob who are really the perfect hosts. We sat in the garden, ate scrummy chocolate cake and watched the sun go down. Everything was provided to make us feel really comfortable. We spent the evening with other guests round the firepit and counted the stars. Thank you so much for an experience we will never forget!!!

Everything about this B&B is excellent from the room to the site with its feeling of being in the wilderness. The hosts Adele & Bob could not have been more friendly and helpful. Even their dog Kelsey participated by accompanying us on our walks.

They have canoes for use if desired as well as a campfire in a great spot near the lake.

The cleanliness and ambience could not have been better.

Room Tip: Look out onto the lake

Secluded and revitalizing on a lake, You can canoe, take day trips to watch wales, enjoy the retreat, its up to you. Nice well kept rooms with amazing hosts, great breakfasts...Took day trips to town, Digby in a beautiful part of Nova Scotia. I loved the campfires in the evening with the hosts other guests. It feels like family , We were the only Canadians the other two families were from Germany, Will definatly book ourselves a room next time that way.

.

Room Tip: Our room had a deck overlooking the lake, comfortable feels like home rooms

My husband and I stayed one night at this lovely B&B. It was our first time staying at a B&B and I think it will be hard to beat. Bob and Adele were so kind, it felt like you were staying with family. The breakfast was amazing and fresh. The dog Kelsey was such a cutie. I would recommend staying here if you are in the area!
