After departing the ferry from Saint John NB, we drove about an hour to find Annapolis Royal Inn.
Check in was smooth, we didn't have reservations. It's a good thing we got here when we did because it filled up quickly.
While checking in we could see hummingbirds all around. Beautiful setting.
We could have easily walked to town within 20 min, but because it was later and a little foggy and as there is no sidewalk along this busier road, we decided to drive. It took only three minutes to drive. Parking was plentiful.
Here you will find a nice little boardwalk, several coffee shops and restaurants and little stores.
Our room is a large, but a little dated. Beds are a bit hard, pillows soft. Bathroom is dated as well but pretty clean. Bathtub faucet dripped all night, so we simply kept the door closed. Towels were nice and soft. There is a microwave, mini fridge and hair dryer.
It was a quiet night which was what we needed after a long drive.
Breakfast was wonderful! Clean and lots to choose from. Fresh fruits, cereals, toast, eggs & waffles. We loved how they kept this area so neat and tidy with so many people coming and going. Great job!
