Reviews simply do not do it justice. You must experience this at least once in your lifetime just make sure to take a full day so you can stop at various points to enjoy the views without being rushed. Sightseeing at the finest. I WILL return again.

“The most spectacular coastal highway in North America”
Reviewed 8 March 2017

Forget California's HWY 1 or The Big Sur. Cabot Trail is the most spectacular coastal highway in North America. I've gone around the full trail, and first 15 miles from Cheticamp to Pleasant Bay is the most spectacular section.

“Just breath taking !!!”
Reviewed 8 March 2017 via mobile

It was her first time already and we haven't done much travelling in Canada. I can't say how much we love the Cabot Trail. The views are just breathtaking and well worth the trip. The people out east and the scenery are very nice and we look forward to going back again very soon.

Make sure you drive the whole loop and allow lots of time for scenic stops an pictures.

“What a ride if you're on a bike!!”
Reviewed 28 February 2017

First time visiting this beautiful part of the world. Heard about this trail from someone else on a bike and said it's a must do. So we did it. First off its 120 miles of the most stunningly beautiful coast line and roads you will see. Gas up first before hitting the trail, we didn't see many gas stations but we really weren't looking for them either. So many stops along the way, coastline is breathtaking! The shops and villages and small towns so quaint, so friendly, so much to do here you could spend a week or more. We did the trail in a day just for the view. So much is available, hiking, trails, camping, fishing, all kinds of side trips off the main trail. Plan it before you go, you can go crazy if you don't. So much fun and truly is a beautiful place on earth.

“One of the best drives in Canada!”
Reviewed 23 February 2017

There's not a lot to say about the Cabot Trail that hasn't already been said! Great drive with lots of hills and twists and turns to keep it interesting. There are some great campsites on the way, lots of restaurants, craft shops, artisan workshops, etc. Spectacular views to be found and lots of great hiking and outdoor activities.
