We stayed here at the beginning of October, and were lucky enough to have great fall weather. The showers we're hot with excellent pressure, well worth the $1/4 minutes. Staff was lovely. The proximity to downtown was great.More

The staff were great here and provided us with information about public transportation info, to get down to halifax downtown. It is a perfect location for visiting Halifax. A great park with trails is next door.

Folks were great here, provided us with public transportation info to get down town harbour. Stayed for 3 nights, 2 full days down at the harbour. Facilities were clean. Only comment I can make is the site we were in was not level, even after using levelling blocks we still weren’t level.

So sorry we weren't able to get you on a level site for your rig though. Hopefully you'll camp with us again and we'll chose another site for you.
Shubie’s Campground worked out to be a great in city central location to use as our home base. We got to see enough to know we want to come back. A great park with trails and a stream is next door. There is a beach for swimming g, but it is too cold for us this time of year. I’ll say even though we had to pay to take a shower, it was a nice hot forceful flowing shower.
Large park convenient to Halifax, but not very good for larger units. No sewer at site, 30 amp electric, lots of trees to dodge. Once it an level there was decent space between units. On the expensive side for what you got but...location.
I have stayed here a number of times and always enjoyed it. It is not a large park so you frequently have to reserve in advance for the weekends. If you like walking trails there are lots. The park is gated, well kept and very clean. If you like nature it is a great destination
