Booked in for a two week stay for a contract in Halifax. The reservation/booking/contract signing process is more arduous than it should be - but once you're past that hurdle - the rest is a breeze.

Check in was easy and efficient. The unit was clean and functional. The full kitchen and laundry was a great benefit. Lots of restaurants in the area (Ristorante a Mano is highly recommended) The underground parking was great - would be especially a benefit in the winter. Grocery store a few blocks away. Definitely worth the few bucks more than a hotel.

We had a harbour facing suite with gorgeous water views. The deck was large and private. The parking was effortless and spacious and their wonderful Concierge, Basil is absolutely the BEST. We loved the suite, with it's comfortable furniture and bed and bedding. The beautiful dining and sitting areas make you feel at home like no hotel can and all the extra detail with the kitchen, cookware and glass ware. Not one single possible thing was overlooked - even the funky folk art with it's whimsical east coast flavour was fun and brought just the extra touch. Love it!

Staying in Halifax for business or pleasure . I highly recommend the Premier Executive Suites. Everything the experienced traveler looks for in accommodations full sized kitchen appliances, washer dryer, balcony and a bbq if you 'd like on your balcony on the waterfront.

I stayed at Bishops Landing for business April 14-17. It was a great alternative to a hotel as the suites have kitchenettes, a fireplace and a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The rooms are somewhat basic but nice, clean, and modern. The gym was rather small and was in an odd location, off of a parking garage. But the location is great. Directly on the waterfront which allowed easy access to many restaurants and activities in the downtown area. There are also many amenities on site such as specialty coffee and juice bars and many great restaurants. They cost of the suite was also less than other hotels in this area. This is a great place to stay, especially in the summer, and gives your the perfect home away from home for exploring Halifax.

We stayed in the Bishop's Landing on 1475 Lower Water Front street in a corner suite room #350.

The reasons we chose Premiere Suites;
-They have multiple properties close to the Waterfront in the Down Town area,
-Their suites provide the space we wanted providing many of the comforts of home.
-Weekly rates are similar to Hotel Suites,

Bishops Landing includes three buildings; there is a lovely green space and pool that separates the 1479 and 1477 wings, and then a retail courtyard with a few dozen parking stalls surrounded by a selection of upscale shops and excellent restaurants separates the third building 1475. You are right along the water here, the famouse WaterFront Board Walk is all that separates the rear of the buildings and the harbour.

The building and suites were clean, and spacious. Our suite included all of the required amenities such as in suite laundry, HD TV, wireless internet, full kitchen, fully furnished etc., but with a couple issues. I am pleased to say that once these issues were brought to the attention of Management they were dealt with promptly. Knowing how approachable and responsive that management is will definitely influence our booking for future visits to Halifax. That said suite selection will be top of mind for our next visits as Lower Water Front street is busy with lots of large trucks hauling containers from the sea port. I'd recommend a room that does not have any street front windows.

We were only a few minute walk from the famous Seaport Farmer's Market which is absolutely worth visiting, but plan to do that on a Saturday. The facility is within walking distance of the excellent shopping district along Spring Garden Road and close to many great pubs, eateries and fine restaurants. So the location is awesome.

Room Tip: The only thing I would advise is that unless street noise doesn’t bother you ask for a suite that does not face Waterfront Street. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we truly appreciated the efforts that management put forward.
