This tour was excellent and I'll go again
Felt someone around me at the bottom of the stairs
Had something step on my left foot at cemetery which kinda freaked me a bit
Keith's courtyards gave me goosebumps for a brief moment
Our tour guide was excellent telling the group wonderful stories
I will go again for sure and next time my friend visits from NB I will take him on this tour
Kudos to Andy Smith for being the groups wonderful tour guide
Thank you for taking the time to attend and for your kind words! See you again!
More than just a "ghost walk" lots of history and tid bits an the history of Halifax. 16 year old daughter loved the grizzly parts as we did. Reccomend this tour as it is the best value for the money in Halifax. 15 bucks per for 1.5 hours of entertainment. Well worth it.
Glad that your family attended my Ghost Walk . . . and enjoyed the variety of stories!
Cheers!
My family and I have done several ghost tours in North America and this was our least favourite one. Andy is an interesting person but kept doing the same "schtick" over and over. Funny the first time, but a bit overdone after 3-4 times. He also should have mentioned that he does not like to be recorded before the tour started as he called out two different guests during the tour and embarrassed them. This was awkward for the rest of us. I would not recommend this particular tour.
Thank you for your valuable feedback.
Very pleased with the Halifax Ghost Walk. Wonderful stories, very interesting way of bringing historical facts to life, excellent engagement of all ages in the group and very respectful to the diversity of the large group in attendance. This walk was a good value for the money, $15.00 per person over 13 and 10:00 for those 13 and under.
Will be looking at booking a large international student group to take this tour.
Thank you for attending for your very kind review. It's always challenging and exciting to engage as many participants as possible!
We were not impressed with the tour. For starters, the group was too big so most of the time you couldn't hear. City buses going by made it even worse. If it's a registered business, cash shouldn't be the only option. $15 is too much for what you get. You could do the full tour alone using Google. You're no longer allowed in the cemetary to view the stones being spoken of on the tour so you couldn't see much from the back gate. Overall not a professional tour. Wouldn't recommend it. 😔
Thank you for the valuable feedback.
My husband and I were looking for an informative, slightly unusual tour of Halifax and the Ghost Walk definitely meets the criteria. Andy entertained us with stories of ghosts, spirits and Halifax history for approx 2 hours (7:30-9:15ish pm) while we walked around downtown Halifax. The price is affordable ($15/person) and we had a great evening...complete with a few spine tingles! I couldn't help but look over my shoulder as I was passing by the same landmarks the next day! Note: After a long day of walking up the hills of Halifax, you will appreciate that the tour starts at the top of a hill (meet at the Clock Tower: just show up at 7:30pm- you do not pre-book/register) and you work your way DOWN toward the harbour.
Thank you for coming along and for your kind review. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Halifax.
