In September 2017 we went on a ‘trip of a lifetime’ touring Eastern Canada, picked up transport at Pearson International the morning after our arrival, and spent the first three nights at the Langdon Hall that had been recommended..

This is a Relais & Chateaux hotel in a lovely setting. Plus points, the gardens are great with good walks and bicycle rides, even fishing apparently (we didn’t!) The food in the restaurant was world class. Lovely wine list . We tested the water in the outside pool (a bit chilly) and checked out the spa (no gym).

We were allocated a room in the modern first floor Cloister wing. Nice room but it was very noisy (we think from the spa pool machinery, or maybe AC but never found out). We asked for a change and were given a third floor house room; slightly smaller but lovely bathroom and peaceful. If there was a lift we never found it, but as the hotel staff dealt with all the luggage it was not a problem.

Not cheap but relaxing with great service and really friendly staff and a good jumping off point for Cambridge Ontario and Kitchener Waterloo which was where we wanted to start our trip.

Came here for a business lunch with colleagues and they made a brand new customer. My wife would frequent this location with her friends but I never thought of accompanying her seeing as how I believed this to be a very posh/female outing - NOT THE CASE. I had the wild salmon and a coffee cake for dessert. Yummmm. Thinking of surprising my wife with an overnight getaway here. Will be back.

Just came back from afternoon tea at Langdon hall and was really disappointed
I have been a regular for many years but was not impressed with the afternoon tea for 48.00 a person desserts and sandwiches were dry.
Such a shame for such a beautiful place
A better afternoon tea would definitely be the Ritz..

We chose to spoil ourselves
We've been to Langdon Hall many times before for spa days and have always wanted to stay over night. Once we knew the wedding was in Kitchener we knew immediately this was our chance to spoil ourselves and stay at Langdon Hall. Other than some confusion at check in, we understood our room to be ready for 11am, our stay was everything we hoped it would be. We absolutely Loved it!

Had a lovely meal - Service was very friendly and food was pretty good quality.

Outdoor venue was really pleasant but they could have done more to minimise the irritating mosquitoes

They could do with resurfacing the main drive - it's condition was appalling and so out of keeping with the rest of the venue
