My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night to attend a friends birthday party. The room was clean and the owners were friendly, so that's good. There weren't any toiletries in the room, however I didnt ask for any either so this could have been a simple oversight. My big problem with the place was the price, I found it very high for this level of accomodation. It is the only place in town aside from vacation rentals though so I can't really blame them for charging what they do, things are worth what people will pay for them certainly rings true here.

I was in the Crystal Beach area for a show on the weekend of September 25th. My brother and I decided to stay at The Crystal Beach Motel because it was within walking distance to the venue. The motel was extremely clean and provided us with everything we needed. Above all, the customer service was above average. During our stay I had lost an earring. Sure enough, shortly after our stay we heard from Serge and Teresa and they had found it. Not only did they contact us, they promptly mailed and returned the earring. It is small things like this that I personally find lacking in the larger chains of both hotels and motels. Both my brother and I are making plans to return to the Crystal Beach Motel next summer with our families. Thank you again Serge and Theresa for the wonderful weekend and service. We look forward to seeing you again.

This is a quiet motel suitable for a comfortable night while travelling. The new owner was helpful in showing us our room and how to get the TV working. He explained that with a change of ownership, certain permits had not arrived yet to get the pool working. However he did direct us to a nearby beautiful sandy beach on Lake Erie where the water was comfortable and crystal clear. The sand went way out. This was way better than swimming in a pool. This motel was a great place to stay because of the nearby beach.
