Zest is a small family run Open Kitchen run by a lovely Sri Lankan couple. The food is tasty, cheap and plentiful and the atmosphere relaxed. The menu ranges from huge breakfasts and terrific burgers to the more exotic Curried Goat Kotu. If you like it hot, tell the chef and he will be glad to dole up some of his tasty Jerk Chicken or Vindaloo. Thursdays and Fridays there is a small buffet set up. And did I mention that everything is from scratch, right down to their burgers, custom made sausages and home-made jerk paste. This ain't the Taj Mahal, but it doesn't pretend to be either.

Simple menu but food tasted great, service was friendly and prices were reasonable. Had the classic breakfast with a coffee (bottomless cup for extra $1.60). Poached eggs were perfect, large toast (no jams??), home fries and 3 link sausages. For those that come alone, there is free wifi. Overall excellent value for a leisurely breakfast. I will definitely come back.

The owners run and manage this café. The food is great and service is fantastic. I have not been disappointed in anything I have been served. they offer a lunch buffet. I make their western sandwich a take out staple at least once a week.
