Comfortable room, nice size indoor food and good food in on site restaurant. Reasonably priced. Westdale Village with multiple shops, movie theater and restaurants is an ten minute walk. Easy on and Easy off if heading west to Detroit or Windsor or east to Toronto or Buffalo

I was booked in at the Visitors Inn for two weeks of training in the Hamilton area and was booked in to the Visitors Inn. The staff was amazing from the front desk to the housekeeping I felt like I was at home.

The restaurants food was awesome. Best fish n' chips and wings. They treated you like family. They were never so busy that they couldn't make time to talk and make sure you were havering a good experience.

I highly recommend staying at the Visitors Inn...you won't be disappointed and feel like you at home!

My spouse and I stayed at the Visitors Inn in Hamilton for three nights, and though the room itself was clean and comfortable, and the building very quiet, our stay was punctuated by staff who treated us with rudeness or disinterest - from the front desk staff, to the restaurant staff. During the continental breakfast (which won't be continuing after Nov. 1st) the woman who served the breakfast was passive aggressive and even at one point was complaining audibly to someone in the kitchen about a customer who she had served the previous day, boasting of how she put the person in their place. Us and two other people left our meals as they were and walked out.
Any questions or queries were met with rudeness, sullenness and with an air of inconvenience by a member of front desk staff, multiple times. When we asked a question regarding the billing his response was sharp, and full of attitude and condescension. And over the phone, when we had called to enquire about what time house-keeping come through our floor, the gentleman at the front desk said, "I don't know what to tell you! They come by when they come by!"
Paid good money for sub par service - we have received better care and service from staff at cheaper hotels, with less stars, and a continental breakfast much the same. Not worth it.

I was here for work. It was fine. No gym though. (Sigh.) And bare bones continental breakfast included until November 1. The room was a nice size and clean though it had a loud heating system that woke me up when it kept coming on during the night. Given that I got to my room at midnight and left at 8, no complaints from me, but still if this wasn't that kind of work trip I would have stayed somewhere else.

Thank you for the review. Sorry that the heater was not quiet enough. We will make sure to fix that right away. Our heaters and a/c units are quite new, and should be very quiet and efficient. I'm sorry that you didn't find our exercise room. It has also recently been updated with all new high-end equipment.

Chose this property for a quick overnight visit in Ancaster. Convenient location relative to Ancaster. Got an internet rate that couldn't be beat.

No criticism at all...easy to find, ample free parking, well appointed and clean room, good amenities, good wifi, friendly staff and a continental breakfast (to be discontinued as of Nov 1).

Criticisms in other reviews were not an issue. I'd definitely stay here again.
