We have been to the Weller Ave. location of East Side Mario's a number of times, as it is within walking distance of the Holiday Inn.

Our most recent visit was a Wednesday evening in October. We arrived just before 7 pm, and there seemed to be a bit of trouble in finding a table for us. Many people must have arrived at 6 or before, because by 7:15 a number of groups had left and the restaurant was fairly quiet.

East Side Mario's offers all-you-can eat starters and bread. We started with the minestrone soup (three kinds of soup are on offer) and it was fine. We chose the Chicken Parmigiana with Fettucini and the Grilled Salmon. Both were fine.

The service was friendly and rapid.

was there on Aug 20/17. the server was having a bad day, I guess. we had the special which included the free take-away meals and unlimited soup and salad. we ordered an appetizer, which never came, until half way thru our meal and we sent it back. we had a salad and soup to start and requested more, which did not happen. we asked and the server blamed the salad guy and she totally forgot about the soup. we do not chase people to do their jobs. I tried to speak to the manager, but she wasn't available, according to the young lady that seats customers.
you will never guess where we will NOT eat again.

We stayed in Kingston on Saturday, August 5th, on our way to Perth the next day for a wedding. We were a group of five from Mississauga.
I had not been to East Side Mario's for quite awhile. We all enjoyed our meals. The highlight of our dining experience was our server Devlin, what a great guy. He was friendly, very welcoming and it was a pleasure to meet him. I hope the management there realize what an asset Devlin is to this restaurant. It was busy when we arrived, he was calm and took the time to briefly chat with us and answer our menu questions, we made some changes and he got everything correct. It was a delight to encounter someone that enjoys their job.
If we are in Kingston again we will go back.

Wanne be Italian food; wanne be good service. Old style Italian music was the most authentic. I would classify this as a sit down fast food restaurant. Food is Ok - far from great and the sauces vary greatly from one location to another. We came to use our gift card. You won't leave hungry as you get all you can eat soup or salad and bread with your dish but you won't leave impressed either.

About the same as any other location in this chain. Service was good and food arrived quick and hot.
