Great food! A return to a simple menu, burgers, fish and chips, pulled pork, and traditional favs. Home cooked and delicious

Sitting by the water on a nice late summer early fall day with a local beer from gananoque, what could better? They have a full menu of pub appetizers from clam chowder to mussels and dinner selections that include BBQ ribs and sea scallop pasta. The Naughty Otter beer is good too! Nice spot for an after work cool down.

Not the most pleasant of experiences, given the above. Driftwood is on a nice location with outside seating, but I wouldn't go there with high expectations for the dining experience. Maybe it was an 'off night' ...

We made reservations for 3. We arrived in time and were told to sit at any available table. We ended up sitting at a still dirty table. No one brought us menus. We sat and waited for 20 minutes. A waiter came with food to our table that was for another table and he never came back. I made eye contact with two waiters and no one ever came. We walked out.

My elderly parents live on Hwy 15 and we were trying to decide where to take them for dinner. Having lived in the area for many years we have driven Hwy 2 to gananoque hundreds of times, and have passed this location. Tonight we decided to give it a try and we're delighted that we did. It's very accessible for anyone who uses assisted walking devices. The staff allowed us to sit wherever we wanted. We chose inside but the balcony overlooking the marina looked lovely. There were sunny spots as well as lots of shade. The inside is decorated with a wrap around blackboard listing all the different beers, spirits and coolers they offer. Two of us had the fish and chips, which were delicious and seemed to be extremely popular with other guests as well. Another had pizza and loved it and another had the citrus (grapefruit) salad, also very good. We were served promptly, and well looked after throughout our meal. The prices were very reasonable, we all enjoyed the meals we ordered, the view is perfect, lots of parking, we will return again!
