I usually stay at hotels but the prices were inflated as it was the end of August and I was helping my son move into a house for 2nd year University at Queen's. I spotted Rosa's and thought 'why not'! It was great, close to the Uni and housing, clean and beautifully furnished. Corinne was lovely and made the most delicious breakfasts! She had all sorts of hints and tips of where to go to pick up things and who to talk to regarding furnishing a house as well as places to visit in the area for some R&R.Super comfy room with private bath and AC. Couldn't rate it higher.I think Lola will miss me playing tug of war :0)

Room Tip: Even though Rosa's is right on Johnson street it was not noisy.

We stayed three nights at Rosa's while on a long weekend visit to Kingston. We found our host Corinne most gracious and full of helpful tips about where to check out the area's hidden treasures. Our room was clean and private and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and artfully presented. The only small issue preventing us from assigning a five star rating was the fact that the room got quite hot and the air conditioner was a bit of a challenge to operate, not to mention that it can easily overload the electrical system and trip a breaker, which happened on our first night.
But in balance, we would certainly stay there again and recommend Rosa's B&B as a great alternative to a hotel stay.

Rosa's bed and breakfast is not run by Rosa, but a lovely friendly lady called Corinne. The b and b is in the student district of Kingston and about a twenty minute walk from the waterfront. Parents visiting their student offspring or bringing or collecting from the university find this a convenient stopover. Our room was compact, with not much storage, but we were only staying for two nights. The breakfast was good, but we found it strange to have to order the day before and make a joint decision on our choice, also it was rather vague. However, we did enjoy our stay.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were excellent with a nice selection of choice entrees. Our hostess, Corrine was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgable of the area. We enjoyed our stay and plan to stay again when back in Kingston.
