Staying here was an experience of a lifetime. It is literally the nicest place I've ever stayed. We had the Whitney Suite and our jaws literally dropped when we opened the door to the suite. Tall ceilings and huge windows and upscale decor and art. Beautiful high end furnishings. It was like stepping into a magazine. And it was not even expensive. A bit more than a standard hotel room and there is just no comparison! I plan to come back and stay again even if I have no reason to visit Kingston. The Whitney Suite has a large bedroom that can accommodate 4 people (One queen, a daybed & a trundle). Great for a family. There's a big tv in there as well. There's also a 2nd bedroom (optional) at the back. There's a washer/dryer back there so it's not quite up to the luxurious standard of the rest of the suite. We enjoyed using the kitchen with it's gourmet double stoves. It had built in griddles so we made breakfast and enjoyed dining at the big table. The stay itself became the highlight of our trip and we even cancelled some plans so we could spend more time just hanging out here. I can't recommend this place enough or say enough good things about it.

Room Tip: Whitney Suite is SO impressive! Spacious & formal but comfortable. On the main floor.

My friend and I were looking for a little getaway in the middle of February, 2017 for the weekend but not to far from Ottawa. We decided to book the Penthouse at the Whitney Manor. We were so excited! The place was perfect (almost perfect)! We loved everything about it. It had a full kitchenette so you could buy some groceries and cook or drive to downtown Kingston (awesome restaurants), the decor was beautiful and the neighborhood is quite. Our only complaint is that there was a dripping noise, so it was kind of hard to watch TV and fall asleep. We had a fabulous stay minus the drip!

We just got back from a Saturday night Stay at the All Suites Whitney Manor. I booked the "Murphy Suite" for my husbands birthday. I had originally had a "regular" hotel room booked downtown but was thrilled when I discovered the Whitney Manor. It was certainly a beautiful, unique experience. The Murphy Suite has two stories, with an open loft king size bedroom. It had an abundance of space, more than plenty, for the two of us. The bed was so comfortable, we didn't want to leave. The suite was fully equipped with everything, all you need to bring is what you want to eat/drink. It's very quaint and romantic with a fireplace on each level. The place was spotless and we met Dorothy who was so sweet to show us around the Manor, as we will be back. The other Suites were just as spectacular with all the modern amenities and fabulous décor. It is conveniently located just 7 minutes to downtown, with an amazing view of the lake. I will never book a "regular" hotel room again in Kingston.... this is now our go-to place for when we go back. It really is a gem and I highly recommend ANY of the Suites in this Manor. You will DEFINITLEY not be disappointed.

Room tip: Any of the suites are amazing. All newly renovated with a rustic charm of a historic Manor. It has fabulous décor!

We stayed in the Penthouse Suite which was beautiful and had all the conveniences and then some.
We got a glimps into the Whitney Suite as well which was absolutely stunning. I was in awe just looking in the front door at the furniture and décor.
The Manor itself is well taken care of and attended to inside and out.
Well worth the money!!!!!

Room tip: The Penthouse suite was excellent for our stay however there are a lot of stairs. Beautiful view from our balcony!

The family had a great time. Impressive with the tall ceilings and window seats. I loved how quiet it was. We will be back.

Just FYI - In the Whitney suite, the main bedroom with the queen, single and a trundle bed was the largest and had a tv. The other queen bed had a smaller room with the washer and dryer. Both rooms had doors to the deck as you are on the ground floor. The bathroom had a large double shower with no tub. The kitchen was massive with two fridges and two stoves!

We were SO surprised to walk into our suite on the first night. It was absolutely charming, 15' ceiling, amazing centuries old pine flooring, catering kitchen and wonderfully large dinning table (seats 12). Clean, quiet and charming!
