Suite with a Falls view a must. Great spot, great to watch the Falls changing colour at night, stunning and only 5 minutes away. Rooms are a good size, clean, bathroom a little dated but ok. Staff are friendly, close walk to restaurants & bars, but it's for the view you select this hotel!!

I spent two days on business at this Sheraton. Be sure to choose the falls view rooms! Looking out on both the Canadian and American falls was a stunning view in the daytime and even more so at night. The breakfast buffet, although a little expensive, was varied and delicious with both an omelette and waffle station. You are right at the foot of Clifton Hill which is the centre of the touristy places. Hard Rock Cafe, Planet Hollywood and the unique Rainforest Cafe next door. Very close to the Maid of the Mist ride as well.

I have stayed at the Sheraton on the Falls several times. While many of our experiences at the Sheraton are very wonderful, there are a few items of discussion that I will go over.

Generally, the hotel is wonderful. We typically stay in a standardized room with 2 queens, on a higher floor. We did, one time, stay in a 2 story suite (separated by a staircase) which was wonderful. The only problem with this room is that if you are traveling with kids, they will be sleeping on a pull out couch downstairs, while the adults sleep upstairs, and vice versa. We have also stayed in a corner suite, which is supposedly one of the most expensive suites in the hotel. I believe our room was somewhere around floor 23. These are corner view suites, meaning that you have a corner balcony and phenomenal views of the falls. The bathroom is extra deluxe, completely glass, giving you a nice view of the falls (which really helps you go, lol!). The problem I had with this suite (as well as the other suites in the hotel) is that the furniture is quickly growing very old. The furniture in the Corner Suite looked as if it should belong at the Brock Hotel (an older hotel just next door to Sheraton).

Something I really like about this hotel is that it is right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Clifton Hill, the most exciting street in all of Niagara Falls. As soon as you walk out of the hotel you are on this street, which very few hotels offer. Also connected to the Sheraton is the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark, a great experience for families.

One last word of the wise I would give is if you find out that your room is above the Rainforest Cafe (which is just below the Sheraton, around the corner), switch immediately. The smell wafts up, and if you have your window open your room can quickly become filled with a food like smell. The outdoor pool at the Sheraton is great, I think it's on the 3rd floor. It is on a Terrace, very tranquil.

Generally I am impressed with the Sheraton each time I go. I will most definitely visit again in the future! :)

Room Tip: If you find out that your room is above the Rainforest Cafe, switch immediately! Fallsview rooms...

We were in Niagara Falls, Ont, Canada for a dance competition, so no tourist activities involved. We're from Toronto so have been there...done that ...before. Having said that, nothing beats the wonder of gazing at the Falls which we did for hours from our 14th floor "deluxe fallsview room". We had a prime room (had sent management an email with specific requests) with everything we asked for after having read some tips from TripAdvisor reviews. We asked for upper floors, not too close to elevator or ice machine in case of noise etc.

From beginning to end the service was friendly and exceedingly accommodating. The room was clean and smelled fresh. View spectacular. Window opened to allow the powerful "white noise" sound of the falls. Buffet breakfast was extremely broad with freshly made waffles, omelets-to-order - tons of variety overall. Only downside was that the chafing dishes didn't do a very good job of keeping food hot - so dig deep and get the warm food from the bottom!

Location is very central. Close to the falls, a beautiful park and just around the corner from the crazy circus of wax museums and other trashy entertainment. Parking is $19 self-parking, valet parking is, I think, about $30. if you are able bodied, self-parking is fine. It is about a 5 min walk back to the hotel. Not up for a walk....go the valet route. In either case, if you have several bags, drop off your luggage using the temporary parking lot to the right of the entrance. Register, pick up your parking pass at the desk and head over to the Green P public parking structure. Remember your level!!!!

Starbucks in lobby. Pricey. some servers were friendly....most had the usual Starbucks attidude. Oh well. Ate at the the Planet Hollywood -interesting, dated decor. Pretty much empty room. food was okay. Also ate at the Hard Rock Cafe - food pretty standard quality also.

Thumbs up for the Sheraton for the above-described room. Can't speak for the others.

Room Tip: go with the Fallsview. I know that the 12 floor and up were great...probably anywhere above 9th floo...

This hotel was everything and more. Steps to the falls, incredible service and delicious food at the restaurants! The Concierge was so knowledgeable and kind. There was a mistake on our booking and the hotel upgraded our room as a sign of goodwill! We will stay here again!

Room Tip: Fallsview Rooms are lovely!
