All references to The Three Stooges’ famous skit aside, my coming to see the Falls was a check off the proverbial “bucket list”. My fiancé took me to The Falls on a whim as we were in Buffalo and being that we were so close we came over to the Canadian side on a beautiful warm Saturday evening. With limited daylight time we chose to spend that time outside at the railing. Once it became dusk we took the Skylon up to see the sunset and the view of a lifetime! They even had fireworks being shot over the US side. We can’t wait to return for a whole weekend to make more and more memories!

The iconic Niagara Falls are a great sight and superbly set up for tourists of all ages. There are lots of things to do and set and drink. If you just want to see the Falls you could do it for free in an hour or so, or do all the tours over a few days. I rate this well above Universal or Disneyworld for kids in terms of activities and cost.

daytime or night time, the sights and the sound of the water and the power of it will keep you there watching for awhile.

We had 3 days at NF as part of a package so it included the Adventure Pass which we made full use of. The Wego transport system is brilliant and a 2 day pass is included. Everything was perfect for our visit - the weather was lovely which always makes things better. We did all the included attractions and believe me you will get very wet. Ponchos are provided of course and you will be glad of them. We discovered on our last day that very near our hotel (Sheraton on the Falls) there is a bridge and you can walk across this for the princely sum of 1 Canadian dollar to the American side of the falls. We knew to take our passports but did not realise that we would have to pay to enter US. This caused an embarrassing moment but the guards decided to take pity on us and let us through anyway! It is well worth the short walk to see the falls from the US side and we wished we had got US dollars with us so that we could have done things there. So my message is yes do it but don’t forget your US dollars! After our time at NF we were taking the train down to NY and the Wego pass came in useful as the bus stops right outside the station and was very easy to use.
