What a treat (no tricks!) for Halloween 2012. Linda gave us an up close, personal tour of Queen Street's haunts and history. Friendly people at the Capitol Q Restaurant--Stay for a drink after the tour.

“Want some great fun?”
Reviewed 18 October 2012

The Niagara Falls Ghost Walk tour we took was fantastic, and we’ve done a number of them. My teenagers are not usually impressed with the tours we take in sort of “toney” places like Niagara-on-the-Lake. But this old downtown Niagara Falls area captured their imaginations, because it was authentically old. The tour guide was terrific in sharing details of what she knew of the people who once lived in these historic structures, including a building that was once a bordello! The guide was able to bring to life a range of unusual characters: stuntmen who performed at the Falls, robbers, and even murderers. The guide was so good that you could easily imagine the underworld figures who smuggled people and goods across the international border. Our family found the Niagara Ghost Walk to be quite the adventure. That some of the buildings that these characters lived in are still around adds real substance to the adventure. Of the tours of this type that we have taken, we rate this one easily at the top of our list. You’ll enjoy it.

“Super Awsome Tour”
Reviewed 14 October 2012

This is a great tour with great value. You are not rushed through the experience and can all talk together. The information and knowledge you get of the area and it's history is nothing short of amazing. We highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the falls. There is so much more to know about that area and this tour opens up a new perspective. If you visit Niagara Falls then you should do this tour.

“Unique and Fun”
Reviewed 26 September 2012

We didn't know what to expect with this tour but were pleasantly surprised, The old part of Niagara is much different than the tourist section and very intriguing. It's spooky by default but our Ghost Guide, Linda made it even spookier with her stories. She was a bit eccentric (in a good way) but so were most of the spirits that she told us about so it all blended together quite nicely. We also shared our fair share of laughs along the way and were able to connect with a few more travellers throughout North America. We enjoyed the diversion from the circus atmosphere of Clifton Hill and we learned more than we could have imagined! The folks at the Capitol Restaurant, where we started from, treated us just like one of the locals. Great fun at a great price!

“Great Night!”
Reviewed 25 September 2012

My husband and I recently enjoyed the Ghost Walk with Linda and fortunately were the only couple on the tour - Linda was amazing - the walk not only had the fun ghost stories but many tidbits and historical facts that made the overall evening truly enjoyable. We have taken part in two other ghost walks in Ottawa and Nashville and this one is every bit as good! Linda adds her personal touches to the evening and it was definitely money well spent. We recommend this to everyone who loves history with the enjoyable ghost anecdotes as well. Thanks again Linda!
