My husband and I took our 2 kids. This hotel was a great location, very convenient if you enjoy shopping. The Mandarin restaurant was right across the road, and was THE BEST one that we've been to.My daughter loved the pool, very warm water, very clean as well. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were good for the price, but the beds and pillows weren't very comfy. We realized soon enough that we could not leave ANY food in the rooms because we were swarmed with ants along the table, walls, drapes. So, we will not be returning back to this hotel - too bad- if it weren't for the ants.

Cafe inside hotel have amazing lattes that comes with latte art. I don't know where else you could get that in niagara region. The interior of the cafe is interesting too, apparently they used all antique/vintage pieces for furniture. They have patio open now which looks over their wedding chapel. The rooms are clean and basic, front desk was helpful.

We booked the room through hotwire which stated this is a 2.5 stars hotel. The hotel lobby and hallway, and even the room door appeared to be 2.5 stars until we entered the room. The carpet is extreme outdated and dirty. The heater fan is broken. The mattress has probably been used for over 10-15 years. The worst part is sound proofing... if someone in the next room takes a shower, it's like a subway going through. If you want to get a good night of sleep, don't stay here.

We booked 2 rooms online on the Sunday night of Feb 19 and requested a late arrival.

Upon check-in, we quickily realized ants were crawling down the wall outside of the closet towards the lower part closer to the carpet where we saw a big stain of unknown/dried liquid...possibly spill from previous hotel guests but without any cleanup effort made. We immediately called the front desk and were offered to have their staff to come spray at the site in which we declinded due to our young aged daughter. They offered to have housecleaning to come around to clean up the mess but it wasn't until 2 hours later. I asked to switch room but they said they are fully booked and only had the presidential suite available in which they were not willing to upgrade without a fee. It was already late and I didn't want to argue and have settled for their option to have it cleaned up by the staff.

For $50 a night, I could have had better room closer to the Falls, ie. Days Inn on Lundy's Lane with better room and was going for $39.

I don't have to say anything more
Bad smell all over the hotel
Don't get fooled by the availability of pool. That's the only thing that sells this hotel I guess - but that too is not a enjoyable experience
Lot of restaurants and shops around this hotel and parking is no problem
didn't feel safe at all

We've booked this hotel online and got a great rate. Read some reviews and was pleasantly surprised that most of the things were quite good. The check in was very fast and efficient. Lots of parking spots available near the hotel. We were upgraded without us even asking to a better room. The room itself was very clean, no odors, the pool was warm, the jacuzzi was excellent. They even have a sauna which we didn't try. The hotel is far from the falls, so you need a taxi to get there or drive. There is a huge mall nearby, with a food court and mandarin buffet which is quite expensive.

This is my first time ever writing a review, i am not one to ever complain about much i am writing this because this was tthe worst stay of my life the dirties hotel i have ever stayed at and the front desk didnt want to do anything to help. i stayed at this hotel cuz i got a great deal online and it was the only hotel that had nice looking heart shape tubs in their rooms what i could see from the picture that is..
when we got to the hotel we noticed it was very out dated decore i was fine with that the first room they gave us we went up and noticed all water marks on the celling which we didnt mind, the heart shape tub when running a bath black gel came out of the jets when turned on that grossed us out i tired to run it three more times to try and get the black out of the jets and stuff still came up when calling the front desk to tell them what was wronge they didnt believe us and i told them to bring somone up to see for themselfs after aguring with them to give us another room which they didnt want to do at all they ten made us pay more money if we wanted to change room as this room was a floor higher and facing a different way we paid as we wanted to enjoy ourselfs. both rooms had a really bad milldew smell to them black mold on the windows and the walls around the windows and the rooms hadnt been used in awhile very dusty and not cleaned well at all.. the worst thing that happened which got me writing this is i went and took a nap and laid down i noticed on the top sheet there was a size of a watermelon of blood in two different spots i called down to the front desk and they told me this couldnt of happened it was from me, i was so mad i brought down the top sheet to the front desk and showed them that it was a black colour of blood which meant it was there for awhile i was so mad and grossed out that i could of caught somthing sleeping in someone elses blood... they said sorry and gave us another free night after hours of fighting with them.
The second time coming back the room was in the same shape black mold smelled of milldew when i pulled the top sheets off there were two beetles dead in the bed and all in the corners of the room were bugs and ladybugs covering the windows.
on top of all this the hotel is very far away from everything its in the middle of nowhere and a $25 dollar taxi to just get in town not even the falls.
the reason why i am so upset with this hotel was the way they treated me when i came to them with my problems. it was aparent that their rooms do not get used a lot and sit there for a very long time without use, they also do not clean the top sheet after each customor.
i would of been fine with everything if they took care of things and were willing to give me clean linings without agruing with me.
i really can not believe this hotel is still open it should be shut down. it is not up to codes at all.

Room Tip: all rooms are very out dated and not used very often which arent cleaned. the swimming pool is very...
