The last time I stayed at this hotel, seven years ago, I rated it four stars. Sadly, my experience this time was not as enjoyable.
When we checked in, we were hit with the news that a few months ago the parking went from included with your stay to $12 a night. We were also informed that the breakfast buffet, previously included, now would cost $10/person, although they have a deal whereby if you order it the day before it is 2 for $15. These two items added $27/night to our costs, which was not made clear from their website.
When we got to our room, we found it to be rather dank and dismal. The lighting was low wattage everywhere; the only way one could see well enough to read was to turn on every light in the room, including the light over the whirlpool tub, which involved a very noisy fan. The one window looked out onto an alcove so that little sunlight came through.
The room was in a state of general disrepair. Leaking faucets, broken knobs, loose hardware, and noisy fans. The rug was old, worn, and frayed. The few accessible electrical outlets were so loose that every plug we tried to put in them fell right out. The climate control would only work on A/C, and was so noisy that when it turned on in the middle of the night it woke us up. The plumbing was so noisy that when people in nearby rooms turned on their water it was like a freight train. The room was, however, reasonably clean. Very disappointing, compared to our previous stay.
The staff was generally very friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast room people. The breakfast room supervisor was especially nice to us.
The hotel seems to have a policy of cleaning the rooms only in the afternoons. We like to go out and do things in the mornings and return in the afternoon to rest before the evening, and we found that if we returned before 3 PM our room had not been made up yet. Once we left so that the housekeeper could do her job, but had to sit in the breakfast room because there is no lobby to speak of.
On the plus side, the location is excellent, within walking distance of the Falls and many other attractions on Clifton Hill. I'm afraid, however, that the next time we come to visit Niagara Falls, this hotel would not again be my choice of where to stay.

Decent inn. Very clean and well maintained. If you book ahead using a deal site then it is definitely worth it. At full fare it is debatable.

Location is great for families as it is located near the Clifton area with the attractions and rides.

Pool was typical hotel pool but was nice and clean and not over-chlorinated.

All in all a pleasure to stay at and would recommend to friends and family.

We arrived to the hotel in August 31st and stayed 2 nights to celebrate my birthday with my husband and 3 children. Sunny and Celina made us feel like home. We are definitely coming back just because of the excellent customer service. Thank you very much!

This was a decent hotel in a very convenient location! We were greeted warmly at check in and received a courtesy call from the front desk shortly thereafter to make sure everything was acceptable. The room was clean, bathroom was clean. To go see the falls and explore Clifton Hill, everything was within walking distance which was great. I gave it an average rating only because it was a little outdated, but comfortable. The other thing that we did not expect was to have to pay for parking and breakfast. Their website was not current and had mentioned free breakfast. But we were able to find a great fun diner not too far from the hotel so it all worked out.
