My husband and I were in town for a wedding and decided to try a b&b as it seemed a cheaper option. Well, we were pleasantly surprised by this nice, spacious, clean, well-kept house! The balcony off our bedroom was lovely. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing there after a full day of sightseeing. My only complaint was that we would have liked to have slept in a bit later and still taken advantage of breakfast. Though a lovely continental breakfast was brought to the room, the latest hour for service was 9 a.m.

We stayed for 2 nights and could not have asked for more. We booked room 3 but we were upgraded to room 7 on arrival. Annette greeted us on arrival and was a perfect host. We had a freshly made breakfast delivered to the door each morning and it was beautiful. The design and decor of the B & B itself is gorgeous both inside and out and very well cared for. The location is around a 10-15 minutes walk away from the falls. It is a nice walk and it is nice to be away from the craziness that is Clifton Hills.

We stayed in room #7. Despite what a reviewer wrote earlier it is not at all to small. The breakfast as mentioned all over these reviews was delicious and Annette was very friendly, met us at the door on our arrival and was ready to assist throughout. It is a beautiful place. We went for Beauty and the Beast and it is less than 5 minute walk from Niagara Centre for the Performing Arts. It is also very close to Clifton Hill which is where all the action is. You cant see the falls directly but you can see the river clearly and are so close you can hear the falls and see the nightly fireworks. Anyway, an amazing B&B and the location is the best. PS she upgraded us at no extra charge just because it was Christmas!....Thanks Annette.

My husband and I stayed at the Cairngorm B&B on Sept 5&6/08.
From the moment we arrived we received outstanding personalized service from Annette, the owner. She made our stay comfortable and we felt secure knowing she was always in the house looking after our needs. The house is spotless from top to bottom, well cared for and decorated in an elegant fashion. We stayed in the Garden room and it was lovely. Soothing colors, big comfortable bed, and relaxing jacuzzi tub. It was a treat to have breakfast out on the private balcony. The breakfast was most excellent. Healthy, fresh and lovingly prepared by our hostess Annette. Warm home baked goods, fresh fruits, teas, coffees and fresh juices were all part of our delicious breakfast. The house was quiet and our sleep was restful....just exactly what we were looking for. The robes and slippers were a nice touch! The Cairngorm is walking distance to all the action and adventure of Niagara Falls. We will definitely stay with Annette again when we return to the Niagara area.

I have just returned from my second stay at this bed and breakfast; and was not disappointed. It is obvious that Annette goes the extra mile in caring for the property and ensuring that the rooms are immaculate. I appreciated the beautiful breakfast tray that was given to us in the morning, and it was so nice to enjoy our morning meal on the balcony of our second story room (we stayed in room number 6). My bed was very comfortable, and I slept with the french doors open. It was lovely to feel the fresh air on me as I slept. Cairngorm is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Clifton Hill area, where there are many tourist attractions. I would highly recommend visiting the area in the fall/autumn, as it is a prefect time of year to be near the falls. It is less congested with tourists and the fall colours are starting to come out. Thank-you to Annette for hosting us!

My boyfriend and I rode our bikes from Toronto to Niagara. (!) 150 km!! We did it! But we could not have done it without the gift of The Cairngorm waiting for us when we arrived. We had phone ahead of time to let Annette know we were arriving by bike. She was so sweet and helped us plan the route ("avoid Thorold"). When we got there we felt like WE WERE SO TAKEN CARE OF. Annette celebrated with us on our accomplishment & told us our "air-conditioned room and a hot shower" were waiting for us. The room we stayed in was so PEACEFUL and CLEAN! It was easy to see the pride that Annette puts into her work taking care of the B&B.
Everything was immaculately taken care of and we could just RELAX. Annette even put extra water in the fridge knowing we would need it! These extra touches were so sweet.

The best was the surprise at our door in the morning! I opened the door to find the most beautiful breakfast tray waiting. The fruit was SO fresh. We had a FANTASTIC TIME. I highly recommend staying here. You will be in great hands & have the most clean and peaceful time - and it's so close to The Falls. ENJOY.

We decided to stay at the Cairngorm Bed & Breakfast for our 10th year anniversary. We loved it! The house was beautifully decorated with a calming light green foyer and a grand "Scarlett O'Hara" wooden staircase. We stayed in the Garden suite (room#5) which had a very comfortable king size bed, a jacuzzi and a walk out balcony overlooking the Niagara gorge. It was nice to have the flat screen TV to watch the Olympics! Annette, the manager was very warm and welcoming. You can tell she pays attention to details by the modern decor and cleaniness.
We arrived late, but wished we arrived earlier to enjoy the grounds. The B&B is truly a beautiful place! Breakfast was brought to your room with freshly baked blueberry muffins, croissants, english muffins, yogurt with granola, tea, coffee, orange juice and freshly sliced up fruit. We were so delighted and stuffed! Enjoying breakfast on the balcony with the sun shining down on you and the sound of the gorge rushing by made our morning so relaxing and tranquil.
We chose this place based on its modern decor (no old style wallpaper) and its great location. It's only about 15 min walk to Clifton Hills. I would highly recommned this place.
