These days we are inundated with online groupon/living social/wagjag, etc etc offers. This stay was one of them. We go to the Falls a few times each year, so we try to stay at different hotels just to make the journey interesting. We have stayed at this hotel before a number of years ago, but this was pre my Tripadvisor era. The location is good, clustered with a number of other hotels overlooking the Horseshoe Falls. The property was quite busy , as per most weekends, perhaps also because of the promotions. We upgraded to a Fallsview room, but it was disappointing for us at best, (lower level, far corner) partially obstructed. The rooms are large and clean, albeit starting to show its age. No complaint there though really. As with most Embassy suites, they have their Manager;s reception which is always nice. The Keg restaurant was also in the hotel, so we were able to use the pool facilities (exercise room/weights was lacking/barren, just some light dumbbells and stair/bike machines) , have the Manager;s reception and dinner all that evening without leaving the property, which was super convenient.
Overall, a nice pleasant stay, p.s, parking was extra., unavoidableMore
