“Well priced hotel with all the extras!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2012

Great room, the best so far. 2 x queen sized beds in a separate room with TV, etc and views of the Horseshoe falls. Had a lounge area with sofa, arm chair, TV, dining table and chairs, separate kitchen area with a 2nd makeup zone with basin, bathroom was nice with shower over bath, spacious vanity and nice fluffy white towels and nice toiletries. Comfortable beds and fluffy feather pillows, room was clean and well layed out. The best part of this hotel which averaged $145 per night (plus taxes) was the complimentary breakfasts and managers reception (for 2 adults and all children). The basic room can sleep up to 7 people with an additional $25 per adult per night all inclusive. The breakfast is a full buffet breakfast with all the hot and cold choices and even made to order omelettes. It is recommended you arrive before 8.30am to avoid a long queue. The managers reception was really good too. A complementary drink per adult (full bar a including spirits) and nibbles such as crisps, pretzels, pickled veges, and gummies, animal crackers and fruit loops for the kids. Don't know how they do it, but they do it well!

Embassy Suites are impressive for too many people and because of that is overcrowded. Suites are nice, I like the two queen beds in one but the fallsview that I paid extra was only side view (avoid rooms from 13 to 15), the magic show was good but the seats included by the hotel in the package are a joke (section 6, this is the farest one, you don't see too much). It looks like the hotel should be 4 stars but the marketing is cheap like for 3 stars. Common guys if you have such a hotel understand that customers are paying for 100% quality not for cheap tricks to make you look good and make more money. Either you position yourselves like a high quality and deliver or you fail. Parking is expensive and for $20 you get valet service only when you arrive, at the end they take you to the parking with the shuttle bus with all your luggage. No wireless in the room, only ethernet, if you have a tablet tough luck unless you go on the 9th floor. No ventilation in the shower room. 1 l of water costs $9.50 !! Really? Tv are outdated and same for furniture.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms from 13 and up, check the room before you take it because the fallsview might be only fr...

Our stay at Embassy Suites was overall wonderful. Our suite was on the 24th floor, the view was spectacular. We enjoyed our time in the chairs just looking at the falls & talking immensely. The room was clean & well maintained. The only issue with cleanliness was when I moved a chair & found an icecream wrapper under it. We ate dinner at The Keg our 1st night there & while the food was delicious & well presented, they just couldn't seem to get my steak to medium well. After 3 attempts they did comp my meal. We thought the breakfast buffet was great. There's something there for everyone. The 1st morning we didn't go down until late & they were cleaning up but the staff was very nice & accomidating. The 2nd morning we read the card in the room & went during a less busy time as we weren't interested in spending time with families with kids. It was still pretty busy & we were seated in The Keg but the food was decent & we weren't planning to spend a lot of time there anyway.

We found the bed, bedding & pillows to be very comfortable, the area of our room to be quiet & loved the black out curtains so we got to sleep in a little. Being able to open the windows a little & hear the falls was really nice too. The little fire place in the suite was cute but didn't provide very much heat & was located in an odd area of the room.

We found the staff to be very friendly & helpful. Especially the parking & bell hops. 1 of the ladies at the tourism desk was terrific, the other was a little less friendly until we made an effort to warm up to her.

The only complaints we had with this establishment were not offering free wireless internet in the suites & the below basic tv channel selection. We found it hard to believe these 2 basic immenities were lacking at the prices they charge to stay there. They did offer dial up service but there was a nightly fee & something wrong with the jacks in our room & it wouldn't work. They offered to give us another room but we had already settled in & had no desire to pack everything up. We also didn't want to give up our spectacular view. We then decided to relax & watch a little tv but the channel selection was below basic cable. Much to my husband's dismay we ended up watching HGTV lol.

In speaking with employees of the establishment & doing a little exploring we found out that many of the establishments nearby offer free wireless internet in the room & this is the most common complaint of customers of Embasse Suites. I certainly hope they change this!

We would stay there again as we loved the view & the rooms but would like to see free wireless internet & a better channel selection added to their list of ammenities.

Room Tip: Rooms with an 11 on the end offer the best views.

It was so overcrowded! Stay at a smaller hotel if you don't want to be squished by sweaty foreign people in 20 minute elevator rides! The view however was nothing short of amazing. But for some reason it wasn't worth the 20 minute elevator ride! People were extremely rude. I won't be coming there again!

The Embassy Suites is always a good choice for Niagara Falls. It's within walking distance of the casino, guest services are solid and the fallsview rooms offer some of the best views in Niagara. Pool and hot tub are good and the property is well kept overall. One of 3 we stay in regularly when we go to Niagara.

This was our second time visiting the Embassy, and it was even better than the last time a few years back. We booked through an Embassy deal that I received by e-mail. I would highly reccomend signing up for their mailing listing because they send out really great deals each month that include room upgrades and food/entertainment vouchers. We received so many extra things we couldn't even do them all in the two days we stayed in Niagara.

We arrived a bit early and had no troubles checking in, it is winter so its not as busy as in the summer, but I would still reccomend trying to do things a little earliar than the rush times if possible.

We used our food voucher at the T.G.I Friday's rather than the Keg because we wanted to get as much out of our money as possible on this stay. We weren't there to splurge by any means. The $40 voucher basically paid for our entire dinner there, versus the Keg where it would have only covered one of our dinners. We have also heard a lot of negative things about the Keg's service. The food was great, actually better than the last time we are there.

We attended the Manager's Reception for our free drink and snacks and really enjoyed it. The last time we stayed there we didn't end up going, but were really glad we did this time. There was chips and candies and some veggie's and dip. Nothing too fancy but a nice little snack to tide you over until dinner. The bar tender makes great drinks.. nice and strong and they are using good quality liquour even though the drinks were free. There was even a nice home made Sangria there as an option.

Now on to the room. We stayed on floor 31 with the fallsview upgrade and part of that upgrade was having the king bed.. we walked in past our living room of our two room suite and into the bedroom and almost died laughing at the size of the bed. It was absolutely huge, basically two queens pushed together with 10 pillows lol. It definitely made us feel like royaly for a night. We enjoyed a night out at the Casino and won $9.00 and then came back to a soak and a bottle of wine in our big jetted tub. The bathrooms are so clean and imaculate that you would think everything was installed the day before. This is something I've always liked about the Embassy.. you feel comfortable because everything is so clean and fresh.

On to the next morning at breakfast.. again this is another thing we didn't do the last time we were there, but again were glad we did this time. We really enjoyed the large selection of things. It's not a typical free hotel breakfast. The cooked to order buffet room is huge and there is something there for everyone.

Overall we loved our stay and can't wait to go back.. we are already planning another trip back in the next few months!

In December of last year we received a promotional coupon to the Embassy Suites in Niagara and we of course took it. We really, really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff and services were excellent and the meals were great.
The complete package was just wonderful starting with the managers party and free drink to the prime rib that evening.
There was also a complimentary breakfast included and I was expecting a continental breakfast but there was everything from fruit to omelette, sausage, beacon and much so more.
Of course besides the services the view from our room was outstanding and so when there is another offer to stay there we will for sure.
