Owner description: Soar the Great Gorge, high above the racing Niagara River. You'll be transported through the air in an antique cable car, while far below the torrent of water abruptly changes direction and creates one of the world’s most mesmerizing natural phenomena – the Niagara Whirlpool. Sometimes frightening and always unforgettable!

We went to this attraction because it was included in our Niagara Parks Adventure Pass. When we heard it was a 100 year old cable car we assumed it would be creaky, shaky, and terrifying. It was just the opposite. The ride was very smooth, calm and peaceful. Even our 5 year old loved it. The whirlpool is beautiful along with the rest of the scenery. There is a car operator who gives a live tour over a loudspeaker. The gift shop was also nice. It was large with a lot of variety.

I did not go on this ride I was afraid my husband went on it and said you should have went. Ride appeared to be very safe and smooth across the river. Well worth the price. Great little gift shop something for everyone, restroom facilities were modern and up to date and very clean.

Definitely a must see if you are visiting. You can see the whirlpools, and people hiking or fishing.

The wait might be longer than the actual ride for this one and you will want to have warm clothes to avoid the cold winds.

A short bus journey will take you to the Whirlpool Aero Cart. Built over 100 years ago this cart takes you over the top of the white water rapids and whirlpool pool at the bend of the river. Be warned this attraction is standing it does not stop but simply takes you over the other side of the river and back again. There are a few steps up and down to the cart. Once out there the back drop and colours of the trees were out of this world yet another beautiful picture option. I would recommend buying a pass which gives discounts to alot of Niagaras main attractions. This is a must see!

Great experience crossing the river and viewing the whirlpool section of the falls and river downstream. A must do.
