Dufferin Islands park is a lovely spot to walk and watch the ducks and geese most times of the year. The creeks are clear and shallow and there are lots of little bridges and lookouts throughout the park. Lots of photo ops. During winter holiday season they have a lovely festival of light display, with new arrangements/additions each year.

A beautiful location any time of year - I am a local citizen who regularly visits this location. Great spot for birdwatching, nature walks, and just plain relaxing. The best part of this place is that it is a quiet refuge in the heart of a very touristy town.

Have been here on multiple occasions and I think I much prefer this in the winter when it is decorated with endless lights for Christmas. The summer is alright, a nice walk to do without as many tourists.
Highly recommend seeing it in the winter.

I would go here everyday after work, during the summer. The perfect place for swimming and paddleboats. The paddleboats are now gone and no swimming allowed. You can still walk or bike through the park , or they still have picnic areas with charcoal barbeques. It is very peaceful here and it's free.
