A beautiful location any time of year - I am a local citizen who regularly visits this location. Great spot for birdwatching, nature walks, and just plain relaxing. The best part of this place is that it is a quiet refuge in the heart of a very touristy town.

Have been here on multiple occasions and I think I much prefer this in the winter when it is decorated with endless lights for Christmas. The summer is alright, a nice walk to do without as many tourists.
Highly recommend seeing it in the winter.

I would go here everyday after work, during the summer. The perfect place for swimming and paddleboats. The paddleboats are now gone and no swimming allowed. You can still walk or bike through the park , or they still have picnic areas with charcoal barbeques. It is very peaceful here and it's free.

This was a great summer picnic place-but every year we take my 98 year old Mother through to see the lights -would be great to have the swimming back in the summer
