We got here on July 4th. We had such a long trip, as we drove straight thru 14 hours from the USA midwest. ALL the hotels were packed and we just wanted a room ANYWHERE! Stopped at the Sheraton and they wanted $250/night for a room with NO view. We saw Fallsview Comfort Inn and stopped in at the lobby. The lobby is decorated beautifully. The desk staff were very friendly and the manager even gave us an upgrade to a room with a view. I just loved the darling balcony. I kept the door open most of the time. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was very nice (not much water pressure for shower though). The housekeeping staff were very nice. Gave us extra towels and shampoo, whenever we asked.
I must agree with the rest of the reviews about the "breakfast". The line was ridiculous and the food was HORRIBLE. We also thought it was terrible to charge us to park!
Do not eat at the rip-off My Cousin Vinnys adjacent to the hotel.............frozen pizza and it cost a fortune. No free refills on drinks (iced tea, come on, it's water!) and the service was poor at best!
WiFi internet cranked right up in our room at the hotel.
Do yourself a favor and go to The Journey Behind the Falls................FABULOUS!!!!More
