We LOVED this place!! We walked in about 30 minutes before closing & the staff was very welcoming. The waitress & owner were very personable. It has a nice atmosphere & good sized menu. Our meals were delicious & so was the creme brulee!

We came here because of all of the great reviews from TripAdvisor. I expected to be impressed, but instead I was left indifferent.

The restaurant itself is kind of an odd mishmash of things, and seems unsure of what it wants to be. The logo says fun and casual, but the dining room and menu, with its dark wood and high prices, says elegant and classy. Unfortunately, the food didn't really live up to the latter. The chicken in the warm mushroom salad was dry, and the lobster in the Mac and cheese was stringy bits instead of nice big chunks. Top that off with slow service and an indifferent waitress, and we were left feeling rather blasé about the place.

I do have to compliment the music, though. They have live music on certain nights, and on the night we went they had one Michael Oakley, who played piano and sang very well, which certainly improved the overall experience.

The moose and pepper bistro is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to.
From the appetizers to our entrees, everything was outstanding!
Service was great and we were not rushed.
A piano player provided music and that was an added plus!

We stayed at a B&B in the area and we were referred to Moose and Pepper by our hostess. She told us that her other guests rated it 10 out of 10. After a disappointing dining experience near the Falls the prior evening, this was such a refreshing change! The drinks, appetizers and meals were wonderful. I had the smothered chicken and my husband had a seafood pasta. Both meals were delicious. We had Stacy as our waitress and she was quite helpful with recommendations from the menu. If you’re in the B&B area or you’re up for a little travel, I recommend Moose and Pepper. We won’t waste our time, money or patience dining near the Falls again.

Thank you Trip advisor! This place was amazing. Just out of the over priced touristy area. Amazing food which the whole family loved. It saved the falls from being worst food in all of our vacations. Server was so nice. It was all around 5 star's! Thank you!!!
