Excellent BnB. A beautiful home, that is very well decorated, and has big real plants in the living room for added freshness. Breakfast was perfect. The hosts are lovely, Howard is very funny, and he makes you feel quickly like you've known him a long time.. The cat Ruby is precious. I highly recommend this to anyone who's interested, especially if you like art and old buildings.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights after we got married and I can't tell you how awesome this place was. Warm and welcoming! We got enough tasting vouchers to last us a week! The "honeymoon" package was just everything you want. Flowers, chocolates, large comfy room and a horse and biggie ride down the main strip. Not to mention a terrific breakfast every morning! I'd recommend this place to anyone who loves staying in B&Bs!

My husband and I have stayed at Lyons House a few times and it is our go-to place for a romantic getaway in Niagara on the Lake, located a convenient 5 minutes walk to the town centre. The proprietors Howie & Jolanta are wonderfully welcoming and the accommodation is both comfortable and beautifully appointed. The proprietors are great at providing local knowledge, e.g. restaurant and winery recommendations (and Howie is a very funny guy in a deadpan sort of way!). All three bedrooms are individually and tastefully decorated and have ensuite facilities. If you want the additional enjoyment of a recently renovated open-concept spa bathroom - with rainforest shower and Victorian bathtub - choose Master Bernard's room. Both Howie & Jolanta are gourmet cooks and the breakfasts, served in their lovely dining room, are always a tasty treat. We've often met other interesting and friendly guests (guess they must be pre-vetted as 'fun people'!) over the breakfast table. Kudos to the historic Lyons House for providing an always great and memorable experience. We will definitely return!

OH BOY, thanks to Howard and Yolanda for a most enjoyable stay at The Lyons House. The warm welcome we received by Howard as we arrived at the front door was second to none. We stayed in the Sir John's Suite and were impressed with the decor, the comfort of the queen bed and the lavatory conveniences. The breakfast that was served, more than exceeded our expectations.

We spent the weekend here to unwind after our wedding in Niagara and just WOW. We were so impressed by the gorgeous house, the friendly and personable staff, the amazing and romantic breakfast, our incredible private bathroom, and the hospitality and recommendations by the owner. I cannot recommend this B&B enough! Everything was clean, romantic, and close to the downtown as well as local wineries. We will remember this trip forever and certainly return again soon!

Room Tip: Request the private bathroom suite if possible. Most amazing spa bathroom big enough for two.

This is a place we certainly plan to visit again. We spent three nights at the bed-and-breakfast and enjoyed every moment. The historic house is totally refurbished with attention to every detail. The owners are lovely and very helpful with dinner reservations, wine tasting options, and anything else you need related to the region. The dining room had every touch of elegance and the gourmet breakfast was amazing. Every day the breakfast was different and always delicious. If we could give 10 stars, we absolutely would.

This inn has three rooms in a vintage home lovingly cared for by its owners. We ended up in room 3. It is a smallish room with one chair and a tiny WC In the room and a huge modern private bath down the hall. I believe the other two rooms are more spacious. Some will love the room. We did not. It would be great as a single. The bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast was lovely and huge. The owners are very accommodating to food likes/preferences and work with people to make sure they are comfortable

Be sure to check out the garden
