Went with my significant other, the staff were very informative and friendly. The winery could've given more samples honestly, while on the winery tour we only got three very small tastings. Beautiful views. While at the brewery we received large samples and tried a variety. We did a tasting and lunch package, food could've been better. We got a sandwhich and a bean salad (wasn't tasty) with water. Wish they gave us the tasting glasses to take home as other wineries do. Worth the price tho with the living social deal! Would go again.

Immediately off the exit to NOTL, the teaching winery offers a wide variety of wines in a vineyard setting. The campus is next door and offers a brewery and commerical greenhouse as well. The manager was very knowledgeable and the servers helpful and friendly. Many local jams, honey, wine accessories available. The Canadian premier visited early that day. Lots of choices to taste wine, don't miss this one.

This was a first stop on our wedding anniversary celebration. We booked the wine/brewery tour about one week in advance. The tour included a lunch consisting of a large sandwich, a salad and dessert. All the food was fresh and very nicely prepared. Got to know a lot about making wine and beer from the tour leaders - including a sampling of the wine/beer that the students make. The highlight of the tour was the brewery tour leader - Justin. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and added a good bit of humor to make the tour fun.The wine sampling that day included a white, red and a fantastic Icewine. The beer included a lager, butler bitter, an IPA and one choice from the beers on tap.All products were made by the students going through the respective programs and are available for sale as well.

We were in the area for our anniversary. We had bought a voucher online for brewery tour, winery tour, and lunch. First of all, we received a reminder email and additional instructions the day before our scheduled tour. We arrived a few minutes late but fortunately for us, our visit coincided with the prime minister visiting campus so it seems the whole process was delayed. Anyways, our guide was a student/graduate of the program at the college. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The tour portions weren't excessively long. The lunch portion (prepared by the hospitality students) was simple but great. The beer and wine were great. We've been on our share of tours and this was one of the more informative and interesting tours!

We love visiting wineries in southern Ontario. REALLY love visiting wineries. Best of all, is getting a tour from a proud wine maker when things are really quiet - like a snowy day in winter when there are no other customers, or a special tour for invited guests. We love 'geeking out' and seeing the special things that wine makers do to make their particular wines stand out from other vintners.

We came to Niagara College for a tour because we thought we might have a similar experience...but missed the 10 a.m. tour. However, we were advised another tour would be happening at 2 p.m., so we traveled about NIagara Region for a few sunny hours, and returned at 1:50 p.m. (seemingly to the surprise of the staff at the NCTW.) Even though we were the only two guests, we were treated to a terrific and comprehensive tour that was personalized to our interests, and given the opportunity to try the wonderful wines made by the students.

We had a great visit, and Kate, our guide (and a recent and proud graduate of Niagara College) made the tour really special. She is a great representative of her alma mater (as was her colleague, the very congenial Ashish). Kate had the knowledge and passion for the hospitality industry and the craft/art of wine making that made the tour memorable...and the wines were fantastic and a real bargain!

Enjoy this hidden gem!
