It’s not the product but the customer relations that are terrible. I posted this same message to them privately and I received an auto reply that they would respond quickly. I’m not holding my breath. Still nothing.
We were just in the gift shop, and Sarah was extremely rude coming to interrupt the conversation between ourselves and one of the other associates. The words “excuse me” go a long way in demonstrating courtesy and manners. We left immediately. Had a purchase in hand and was still perusing. Could have spent a few hundred dollars but decided against it. I guess when you’re this big you don’t need to care anymore about providing quality customer service. Not every customer is a wine aficionado but many of our other local wineries are helping us learn while having fun enjoying the fruits of their labour. Needless to say, we’ve chosen not to return to Reif. You left a bad taste in our mouth.
I was intrigued to real several hundred reviews on Reif. Customer service is clearly the issue. We pride ourselves on our referrals. It’s our word. Not Reif, Not anymore.
If you decide to have a tasting here you must request Greg! He was unbelievably knowledgeable. After a quick chat he knew exactly what wines we would enjoy most. We couldn’t have been happier with his service. He’s also super easy to talk to and has a great personality. Lovely experience made mostly by Greg. We will 100% be returning.
Our experience was great! Our server Giulia was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable when it came to the wines and she was very friendly. I would highly recommend this winery.
Herb was very knowledgeable and passionate about his wines. He was educational and tried to create a experience and not just a average tasting .
To celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, we went to Niagara-on-the-Lake. One of our stops was Reif Estate Winery. We had the best experience with Herbert. He was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We found all of the staff to be wonderful. Thank you!
