Terrible. Tiny portion. Bland. Soggy. Chicken souvlaki was way over cooked, tender like a catchers mitt. I would have been disappointed if it was cheap, but it isn't.

While in Oakville decided to stop in and try Colossus. Delicious Mediterranean food with ample portions. Photo is of pork belly sandwich, saganaki, lamb souvlaki and Grecian salad. Almost everything was top notch except the rice, which was just average, but everything else including ambiance and service more than made up for a minor shortcoming with the choice of side. Lamb and pork belly were exceptional. Cute patio was welcoming but just a little too cool outside during our visit to try but would definitely try on a warmer day. Well worth a visit! Bring your appetite!

Mid week dinner at this restaurant with great location and able to survive over the years the changes downtown oakville. Good service, friendly and personal, medium-high prices. The Babà ganush was gigantic and really excellent.
The Seafood stew, one of the special, was really nothing special and indistinguishable from any other cuisines
The Bread with oil and garlic, served abundantly, was a turnoff. Bread was not warm and almost stale, the great Greek oil was nowhere to be found on the garlic concoction.

We like eating at this restaurant because the food is consistently good & the service is very professional. The restaurant has been renovated since we last visited in the fall. It looks like a taverna on one of the Greek islands. Tonight, we ordered the Saganaki ( Fried Cheese) & Calamari as appetizers. We also ordered the Lamb Souvlaki & Sea Bass (deboned). The portions are plentiful so we needed a "doggy bag" to bring the leftovers home. This is a very relaxing place to have dinner. We prefer visiting on Sundays when the restaurant is less crowded.

We ordered takeout from this restaurant for a big family gathering (Orthodox Easter Weekend). It was the most delicious dinner that we have had from a Greek Restaurant in a long time. Fresh salad, delicious calamari (both grilled and fried) and their seafood pasta is just to die for! The additional grilled shrimp that we ordered were huge and also juicy, prepared just right!
