Had the cod and onion rings here (yeah, not much of a fry guy anymore). Cod was very good, great batter, two pieces, but small. The onion rings were disappointing in size; only had seven onion rings, and small in size. This place used to do big giant rings, what happened to those?

Good food, but for what we paid, can go to Churchill's Fish and Chips in Oshawa and get almost double the portions for only a fraction more of the price.

Having not had fish and chips (and onion rings) in a long time (9 years +) Schooner Fish and Chips is the place to go. Very friendly staff, excellent prices, big portions and the list goes on and on. It is really nice to have such attentive staff to ensure that every aspect of your meal is perfect before leaving.

It's also really nice to eat real fish, with real potatoes for fries and real chicken meat for their chicken fingers.

Not many seats, however most of the service is take-out. A must visit if you're around the East end of Oshawa.

We have eaten here quit a few times because you can not tell the difference between gf and not..they have gf onion rings and gravy and tartar sauce. They are very careful and serious about food prep. For those with gluten allergy craving normal food choices will enjoy this place.
